Just saw the thing on youtube, got to say: pretty awesome. Love the song, and the fact it's 23 seconds long just adds to it X3

"Now I'm actually trying to get into colleges and shit so I wanted to put it in my portfolio..."
I'm assuming colleges for Animation. Did you figure out what kind of field you wanted to go in? 3D? Games? Traditional? That sort of thing?
I know of two cg schools that teach animation schools. Both online. (iAnimate by Dreamworks, and AnimationMentor which has a whole bunch of teachers in the industry.)
My only suggestion to this is fix the hind legs. Quad walks are hard and this is a damn good job. Remember to take a look at video references of arctic foxes, it will help. My old shih tzu (And I am not stressing old) runs likes its a hop. And stretches those legs out. So you really have to show the feet launching them off the ground and maybe covering more distance.
I like how you've started with the overlapping action through the entire body. Just push it a little more and you'll get it. Another note, push the ears back.
It'll be better for someone to tell you to tone it down than not pushing it far enough.
I hope this helps.

I'm applying to Ringling in Sarasota right now; they have a very competitive Computer Animation program. Computer Animation is what I'd like to go into, not traditional. I already got accepted to SCAD and they have a good computer animation program as well, but Ringling is much closer to home...
Thanks dude! I'm going to try and fix the legs tomorrow, give him more of a jump. And I'll make the ears tilt back a bit when he jumps off, but I don't want to put the ears all the way back because I want him to look like he's alert and focusing on where he's going, thus keeping his ears erect.

If I have to list all the fomrs Sil has taken XD I wont have enough space XD I'm unsettled or settled unknown. I've changed a lot these past few years but a big thing is comming up next, getting a room. who knows if I changed with a life like that, maybe I do, maybe not, so theat way, unsettled or settled unknown. I do have an age of most people would be settled though.
how did you rolled into settling? how did it work for you? because I have quit a lot animal that fit me exceptionally good but not entierly. for example, deer are a good possibility but total other things like (regarding to peoples RA and other analyses) the river otter and snow leopard (snow leopard due to some ones RA, almost everything was like me)

This is really good! As an animator myself I know that it can be really tedious and you did a fantastic job. The head movement is the best, I think the farther back hind leg needs a few more inbetween frames and the back legs don't seem to move quite right... but that may just be how arctic foxes run, I'm not too familiar with their walk cycles. I think maybe a final frame or two could be added to help tie it together in a more solid way when it loops around but I think all in all it's really great.
Also, I've never scanned in work and animated it, was it hard to get the frames just so?

Wow dude, thank you so much! :') I agree with everything you said. I'm not sure if I did the legs right, that's just what I thought they were supposed to look like but I may be (lol probably am) wrong. I am really proud of the head movement though, I think it came out really nice and smooth.
The scanning was easy; I just made sure I put all the papers in the same way and when they scanned in the foxes were all in the same place on the screen, so I just layered them on photoshop and cropped them all at the same time.

Thanks! It's a lot easier if you do it all on photoshop instead of on paper like I did! xD
