Yeah, I know what you might think... I was bored and didn't feel like going on with my art projects and challenges, plus I didn't know what to draw/paint at all.
At times, I like to open Medibang and simply let my imagination loose. I don't know what I'm going to paint and that's why I'm excited and I don't much care about the outcome. At least, I'm practising and that should lead me to improving my art skills, right?
Here I started with the sky and then I moved on to the snow on the ground. Adding the northern lights was a spontaneous idea.

You know with the colors a tad darker and the scenery a tad harsher and grimmer...I honestly don't think this would look out of place as a black metal album cover
Unfortunately where I live you'll never see the Northern Lights and you're lucky to get snow...maybe once every two years; and with the planet warming that's probably gonna be even less and less often as I get older
