This is one of those pieces that I get the idea around midnight and draw till 07:00 in the morning- - - I hate when that happen cause I really should get my sleeping pattern worked out, but what can you do inspiration doesn't wait for a good time.Good that I stayed up drawing cause I actually love it and not just cause there's Famine in it. Shouldn't feel sorry for a guy like him, but he really looks lost and he doesn't stand cold too well.
Best place for him to be is a warm, dry place with lots of stuff to eat and drink. Like me.

I personally only like snow when it's like -20C outside when the snow isn't wet. It's always pretty when it snows, but I could do with like week of snow in a year, that's all. After that I get sick of it and sadly I live in Finland so there's usually lot of snow---

I really like this piece. The horse looks really neat, makes me want to go back into practicing drawing them. The rider's expression is perfect, as you said he's not big on the cold.
I love how you did the snow as well! Reminds me when I was in high school and our teacher was showing us how to make fake snow in scenes! xD

Snow is one of the hardest things to draw-- for me at least, cause you don't have that much what you can do, yet there's still so many ways snow can look. I'm glad to hear that you like it n_n

Yes, the hardest part usually in everything is starting. Once you get started and have a clear idea what you want it to look like it gets easier and even fun drawing.
