really good composition, im really drawn in to it, and disregard my last comment about outer glow...lol looks like you did that, ok then next time how about when creating your burst in the middle try setting your brush to dissolve just to compliment the focal point. for my brushing i usually use a wave filter and duplicate and merge a few times...pinch and perspective teh scale down and attach some more, i really adds alot of detail to the brushing...

You have a great sense of motion and depth in this and it all makes you feel like you're falling toward that devist8'ng orb thats charging up in the center.
