The RX-666 Unicorn Gundam 04 Re: G.Re.D., or Unicorn REGRED, Is the fourth experimental full Psychoframe Gundam of the RX-0 series gundams. It was designed and developed by an unknown party using the blueprints and combat data from the original first three Unicorn Gundams and other Psychoframe Mobile Suits such as Zeong and Sinanju. The Gundam’s name Re.G.Re.D is an abbreviation, with its full name being RX-666 Unicorn Gundam Revised: Great Red Dragon. As the name stated, this Gundam’s motif is that of a Dragon. At first glance, REGRED bear various standard features shared by all other Unicorn series Gundams: A full Psycho-frame Inner structure across his whole body as well as the Nt-D system. In Destroy Mode, its exposed Psycho-frame crystals normally emit bright purple light. However, in-depth analysis of the Gundam will reveal the similarity was only on the surface. As implied by its name-sake: Revised, the Unicorn REGRED possesses various distinct features, a blending of bleeding edge technologies from Zeon, Federation and even beyond, thus makes it a completely different kind of ‘beast’ compared to its other counterparts. If the previous three RX series are Beasts of Possibilities leaning towards a more positive light, REGRED was designed with a far grimmer outlook. It imagines a darker distant future, where Psychoframe technology proliferate unchecked, bringing humanity on a path towards doom. And thus was born the extremely powerful and destructive Psycho-Machine Gundam designed to be the ultimate Anti Psycho machine weapon. That’s the kind of Beast REGRED represent: a beast bred for the worst possibility imaginable, a last ditch effort in a Doomsday scenario. It is perhaps fortunate its development never went any further beyond conceptual blueprint.

Firstly, the most noticeable distinction in comparison to other RX-series Gundams is its size. REGRED stood easily 1.5 times taller than a standard Unicorn Gundam, as well as having a wider body frame due to various additional thrusters and armor plates across its entire frame. Between this and subtle extensions and increases in body size, Unicorn REGRED possesses plenty of extra spaces to be fitted with additional equipments, such as the Liquid Psycho Frame, a denser, more concentrated form of Psycho Frame in Liquid Crystal Gel form housed inside bundled tubes stored (in a way not dissimilar to human blood vessels) within the extra hollow spaces of the REGRED’s expanded internal space. This meant that at its basic form, REGRED possessed 3 times as much Psycho-frame compared to a standard Unicorn Gundam. Additional equipment in its Full Scale Armor will bring that number up to 7.

In Destroy Mode, the suit's Psycho-Frame scans the pilot's thoughts and directly transmits them to the suit's drive system; in other words, the Unicorn can be controlled by the pilot's thoughts alone. Additionally, the mode also causes the machine's performance - in thrust, generator output, and sensory radius - to be increased to unmeasurable levels. The NT-D also allows the Unicorn REGRED to take control of an enemy's psycommu weapons (also known as "Psycommu Jack") by emitting a Psycho-Field. However, the stress placed on the mind by manipulating an object more than tenfold the size of an average human is extraordinary, this goes doubly true for the larger than normal REGRED. With REGRED having many times the amount of Psycho-frame than normal, this exponentially expanded and improved the Gundam’s performance, but in so doing created a suit so reactive, it’s actually quite unsafe for use. REGRED is designed to be exclusively used by a true Newtype, because only a true Newtype can interface with the Psycho Frame strong enough to create Psycho Field. And due to the increased amount of Psycho-Frame, REGRED can generate a Super Dense Psycho Field across its entire body; dense enough to actually stop direct beam attacks head on.

In the case of Unicorn REGRED, this Psycho Field is indispensable. Apart from providing ample defense to an otherwise fragile Gundam, the Psycho Field was heavily integrated into all of the Gundam’s systems, its thrusters, control interface, even its weapon system and weight balancing. Physically speaking, with over half of its weight being attributed to its dense Liquid Psycho Frame, the Unicron REGRED had a far greater mass than its appearance would suggest, and thus it would’ve collapsed under its own weight if it tried to move. The Super Dense Psycho Field is therefore required to compensate this weight by reinforcing its structure using the Psycho Field phenomenon to support the extra weight. And for this same reason, REGRED doesn’t actually ‘have’ a Unicorn Mode, requiring its Destroy Mode to be active perpetually for the Gundam to even function properly as a Mobile Suit.

Another point of difference, is that while most Mobile Suits universally used the Minovsky Ultracompact Fusion Reactors, REGRED used the extremely experimental and little understood DHGCP power plant (Discontinuous Hyperoscillation Gauge Collapsing Pile) which is essentially an artificial black hole, granting the Gundam energy output many times far beyond its contemporaries. Other than allowing the REGRED to power its energy intensive perpetual Destroy Mode’s state, it also provide enough energy to power various experimental, mostly Psychomu based, equipments. Foremost among them, the Gundam’s true strongest weapon: a miniaturized and vastly improved version of the Neo Zeong’s dreaded Psycho Shard system, which can actualize the pilot’s thoughts, now codenamed ‘Star Sweeper’. It is composed of four individual pods attached on the Gundam’s shoulder and knee armor. These pods contain fleets of Nano machine made of psycho reactive material, which was meant to be used in conjunction with REGRED’s Super Dense Psycho Field. These nanomachines can be used offensively or defensively for all range attack and defense.

Armaments
60mm Vulcan Gun

A basic armament found on many Federation mobile suits. While essentially ineffectual against mobile suit armor, they are useful in intercepting incoming missiles/rockets, destroying mobile suit sensors, and engaging lightly-armored vehicles.

Beam Saber

The standard close range armament for most Federation mobile suits. The beam saber is a small device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by a rechargeable energy capacitor. It emits a blade of plasma contained by an I-Field and can cut through most armor not treated with anti-beam coating. The Unicorn Gundam REGRED is equipped with Four beam sabers, two on the forearms, two mounted inside sub arms beneath the arm pits.

The forearm mounted beam sabers can flip over and be used directly, in this form, they are known as beam tonfa.

Beam Magnum

A highly customized beam rifle designed with an energy condenser. The power output in a single shot is the equivalent of 4 regular beam rifle shots at the expense of an entire E-pac. Each of the beam magnum's magazine is loaded with 5 E-pac, allowing a total of five shots before reloading. The Unicorn REGRED can carry four spare magazines on its rear skirt armor. When not in use, the Beam Magnum is stored on the hardpoints in the upper section of the Gundam’s thigh. The Beam Magnum is exclusive to the RX-0 series and causes malfunctions if used by other mobile suits, such as the Delta Plus. By standard, most RX series only carry one Beam Magnum at a time; with the other free arm carries the signature I-Field shield. However, with REGRED being in perpetual Destroy Mode, protected by its Super Dense Psycho Field, the shield was considered redundant, therefore allowing the Gundam to dual wield two Beam Magnums at a time. The Gundam’s various Sub arms were then designed to aid in the reloading so that either arm need not let go their respective weapons to reload.

Hyper Beam Saber/Beam Cannon

The Unicorn REGRED Gundam stores a pair of hyper beam sabers on its backpack mounted Back Shield. The hilts of these beam sabers are easily three times larger than other beam sabers. The weapon emits a much longer and more powerful blade that can easily cut through several mobile suits in a single swing. Its blade length is about 1.5 times that of regular beam saber's also makes it possible to easily break armor made of Gundarium alloy. The Hyper Beam Sabers double as beam cannons when attached to the Back Shield. The Hyper Beam Saber has a power rating of 1.1 MW each, while the beam cannon mode have a power rating of 10 MW each.

I-Field Barrier – Beam Drive System

Unicorn REGRED sports four in built I-Field generator on its shoulder extensions and knee guards. The I-Field forms an invisible 360 degree barrier around the Unicorn REGRED, protecting it from incoming energy attacks. The Unicron REGRED's I-Field is notable not just because it is used to power the machine's movements as part of a reactionless drive but it also has a bio-feedback system of some kind which was integrated with its ability to create Super Dense Psycho Field. When the pilot sits inside the cockpit they become part of the I-Field's loop and the strength of any shield it uses is dependent on the willpower of the pilot as well as the power of the Unicron REGRED itself. Furthermore, the I Field Beam Drive System is also Unicorn REGRED’s primary propulsion system, with its speed and maneuverability is directly controlled by the pilot’s thoughts, Unicorn REGRED can literally move at a speed of a thought. In optimal condition, this gives the Unicorn REGRED Gundam not only an incredible amount of defensive capabilities against beam weapons, it also provide the Gundam with such a speed that, even when its Pilot wears a specialized pilot suit, it still requires them to use the Psycho Field to protect themselves from the resulting brutal G-force. Using it can tax the pilot because it's driven by their own energy and willpower.

Nano Harvest Blade Emitter

An experimental close to mid range armament developed specifically for the Unicorn REGRED as part of its theme of being an Anti Psycho Machine Gundam. It is meant to be the ‘missing link’ that combines the best aspects of Beam Sword’s light weight with the raw piercing power of traditional physical blade. Unicron REGRED carries two of these weapons, stored on the upper portions of its shoulder when not in use. When activated, it took in the Psycho Reactive Nano Machines from REGRED’s Pod to generate a monomolecular katana one atom thick, which is then reinforced using the REGRED’s Super Dense Psycho Field. The Nanomachines at the blade’s edge then revolve at incredible oscillation rate until it is superheated; it’s practically an elegant chainsaw. This mono-molecular micro saw blade can cut through its target at a microscopic level by severing the molecular bond of the Object’s atoms. As the Nanomachine has been treated with Anti Beam coating and reinforced with Super Dense Psycho Field, it can hold up against beam saber (albeit briefly). But most importantly, as it is also a physical weapon, it can easily pierce through most anti beam protection as well as penetrating physical armor. The Nanoblade is also part of the Nanomachine’s self replenishment system. Whenever the blade bites into a target, the nanomachine will deconstruct raw material straight from the damaged target, using it to reconstruct fresh new nanomachines for REGRED.

Star Sweeper System

The four pods attached on REGRED’s body contain fleets of nanomachines which can be stretched along with REGRED’s Super Dense Psycho Field, creating large, iridescent black draconic wings that blanket the stars in vicinity when used in outer space, hence the name. REGRED’s Psycho Frame also seems to emit pinkish purple flames when this system is activated. The nanomachines can be used for defensive purposes as well as for offensive, such as disintegrating artificial matter and absorbing energy from incoming attacks. The Star Sweeper is actually a derivative of the Neo Zeong Psycho Shard Generator, the entire Gundam being the platform for deploying this weapon. Like its Neo Zeonic predecessor, the Star Sweeper can actualize the Pilot’s thoughts within the boundaries of Gundam’s Psycho Field, however, it is now supplemented with the addition of the Nano machine fleet stored within REGRED’s pods. Since Psycho Field being a wave based phenomenon thus capable of deflecting beam cannons, records showed it fared poorly against physical weapons. The Nano Machine was meant to add ‘physical mass’ into the immaterial light based Psycho Field, with the thought actualization capability of the Psycho Shard combined with the Nano Machines of the Star Sweeper, the Pilot can create whatever physical object he can imagine within the boundaries of REGRED’s Super Dense Psycho Field using the Nano Machine. It cannot create complex structures which require chemical reactions such as beam weapons or firearms, but it can induce them and manipulate matter at molecular level – theoretically speaking, it can be used to regenerate the Mobile Suit itself. Ultimately, what can be created within the Psycho Field is limited only by the Pilot’s imagination, the amount of available Nano Machines and the limited range of the Star Sweeper, which is far reduced compared to the Neo Zeong version. This limited range can be mitigated when REGRED is equipped with its Full Scale Armor, giving REGRED additional Nano material stored within its 6 Type-D Shield funnels as well as massively expanding the range of its Psycho Field.

Type-D Shield Funnel

In all RX series Gundams, every unit came equipped with a shield that houses an I-Field Generator, which is operational in both Unicorn mode and Destroy Mode. Like the Unicorn Gundam itself, the shield also transforms and reveals its Psycho-Frame parts during Destroy Mode. Due to the properties of the Psycho-Frame allowing for direct manipulation of an object by a Newtype, Unicorn Gundam is able to use its shields as beam deflecting funnels despite them lacking any thrusters. But despite its effectiveness in battle, this function as a Funnel weapon is considered unintentional, and therefore, the Type-D Shields were designed for Gundam REGRED’s exclusive use specifically as a Funnel Weapon, hence it has no handheld grip – although it can still be used a shield. Stored within the inner chamber of the shield are tubes of Liquid Psycho Frame, with the shield itself being almost as tall as the REGRED itself, two Type-D shields had as much Psycho Frame as a single Unicorn Gundam. REGRED can carry up to 6 units on a rear Backpack mounted recharger pads. In this state, the Unicorn REGRED is denoted as Full Scale Armor mode. The Shield equipment is composed of three parts. The upper half contain a Smart Beam Cannon stored inside the closed maw of the shield, the maw opened revealing Psychoframe Controlled reflector teeth to control the beam flow when firing. The edges of the lower half are Heat hawk axes. At the center of the shield is an on board I-Field Beam drive system for mobility and protection. Apart from that, each Shield Funnel also contains a storage chamber for additional Nanomachine fleet. This, combined with the on board Psychoframe, formed an integral part of REGRED’s Star Sweeper system, amplifying its strength and range to cover an entire battlefield at its maximum output. When all 6 Shields are deployed together in formation, it creates the image of an outstretched draconic wing.

Beast Buster Launcher

A special equipment created exclusively for REGRED’s use. It has two primary weapon forms: one as a hyper beam gatling cannon for a devastating long range assault – Buster Launcher, and the second form as a massive mace like weapon - Buster Hammer. The whole weapon itself is impossibly heavy and dense; it is an absurdly unwieldy equipment no normal Mobile Suit can hope wield. The whole set contains as much Psycho frame as an entire RX series Gundam. When the psycho Frame in this weapon resonates with REGRED’s own Super Dense Psycho Field, it allows the Gundam to withstand the Buster Launcher’s destructive recoil or lift and swing the Buster Hammer easily. In its long range configuration, the Buster Launcher is basically three Beam Magnums linked together in a a revolving Gatling gun frame. It can fire rapidly one barrel after another in quick succession – in which case the Gundam REGRED wield it in under carriage configuration. The second configuration is the cannon mode, in which it sent out one massive energy sphere that implode upon impact, pulling its targets into the epicenter of the explosion. The Buster Launcher can also be mounted with three units of the D-Shield Funnel to further amplify its destructive power to equal that of a Mega Particle cannon – although REGRED cannot move during the firing. In its Buster Hammer configuration, the hammer head is absurdly heavy as it contains the extremely dense Liquid Psycho frame within its holds. This massive concentration of Psycho Frame further concentrate the super dense Psycho Field unto the hammer head, upon impact, it releases such a tremendous concussive force, it amplifies the already prodigious mass of the actual weapon with concentrated Super Dense Psycho Field, even a target as big as a Battleship would be pulverized by sheer mass difference. When necessary, the upper portion of the hammerhead can also detach and function as a remote psychokinetically controlled bludgeoning projectile to engage mid ranged targets.
   Special Equipment & Features
Sub-Arms

A unique feature of Unicron REGRED is that it possesses as many as six sub-arms. Two arms are folded beneath the Unicron REGRED’s armpit also carries a pair of beam saber. Two arms stored in the frontal skirt armor, and another two arms folded on the rear skirt armor. They are much thinner than Unicron REGRED’s main arms, with only three fingers. These sub-arms primarily aid the Unicorn REGRED in reloading the E-pac magazines of its twin hand held Beam magnums, allowing the Gundam to keep holding on to its weapons as it reload. Apart from that, the Sub Arms can also utilize various hand held weapons, such as the spare beam sabers and Nano Blades, granting additional close combat offensive capabilities.

Intention Automatic System

This system is inherited from the Sinanju Stein and functions by using the Psycho-Frame's sensitivity to the pilot's thought-waves to directly affect behavior of the mobile suit. It is also possible for the pilot to intercept the thought-waves of an enemy pilot. Additionally, the system directs the suit's movement when active, and does not completely depend on the pilot for commands. By default, the system will automatically attempt to destroy any Newtype enemies it detects, but requires the pilot to give it a conscience so it does not merely become a killing machine.

Newtype Destroyer System (NT-D)

An anti-Newtype system developed by the Earth Federation, it works by using the Psycho-Frame built within the mobile suit's body to seek out Newtype brainwaves. Should one be found, the NT-D System activates and turns the Unicorn Gundam from its usual "Unicorn mode" into its "Destroy mode", improving its stats overall and allowing it to take control of Newtype weaponry used by others and turn them against them. However, the system has a number of flaws. Its most ironic flaw is that, because of the massive stress the system exerts on its pilot, a Newtype is the best choice to control it. However, those with strong wills can overpower the system. In the case of Unicorn REGRED, this system activates as soon as the Gundam went online and cannot be turned off as this system is so integrated into the REGRED’s functionality, it assume Unicorn mode only when the unit shuts down.

Destroy Unchained

When the synchronization between the Newtype pilot and the Unicorn through the Intention Automatic System as well as the operating level of the NT-D System exceed control range values, it is said that the Unicorn automatically shifts to a mode called "Unchained". The external armor further expands from those of the Destroy mode, exposing more of the internal Psycho-Frame. This is to avoid interference as the entire "full Psycho-Frame" body generates a powerful Psycho field: In a way, it is "unchained" and free from restraint. This secret function, "Destroy Unchained," was considered a last resort and insurance provided for the UC Project. In this state, the Psycommu connection flow limiter is cut off and control of the Unicorn is forcibly transferred from the pilot to the NT-D System. The pilot is treated merely as a "biological component" by the system without consideration for their survival while the Unicorn automatically executes program code for the purpose of defeating enemy Psycommu units, becoming a pure combat machine under complete automatic control.

Beam Saber

The standard close range armament for most Federation mobile suits. The beam saber is a small device held in the mobile suit's hands when operated and is powered by a rechargeable energy capacitor. It emits a blade of plasma contained by an I-Field and can cut through most armor not treated with anti-beam coating. The Unicorn Gundam REGRED is equipped with Four beam sabers, two on the forearms, two mounted inside sub arms beneath the arm pits.

The forearm mounted beam sabers can flip over and be used directly, in this form, they are known as beam tonfa.

Beam Magnum

A highly customized beam rifle designed with an energy condenser. The power output in a single shot is the equivalent of 4 regular beam rifle shots at the expense of an entire E-pac. Each of the beam magnum's magazine is loaded with 5 E-pac, allowing a total of five shots before reloading. The Unicorn REGRED can carry four spare magazines on its rear skirt armor. When not in use, the Beam Magnum is stored on the hardpoints in the upper section of the Gundam’s thigh. The Beam Magnum is exclusive to the RX-0 series and causes malfunctions if used by other mobile suits, such as the Delta Plus. By standard, most RX series only carry one Beam Magnum at a time; with the other free arm carries the signature I-Field shield. However, with REGRED being in perpetual Destroy Mode, protected by its Super Dense Psycho Field, the shield was considered redundant, therefore allowing the Gundam to dual wield two Beam Magnums at a time. The Gundam’s various Sub arms were then designed to aid in the reloading so that either arm need not let go their respective weapons to reload.

Hyper Beam Saber/Beam Cannon

The Unicorn REGRED Gundam stores a pair of hyper beam sabers on its backpack mounted Back Shield. The hilts of these beam sabers are easily three times larger than other beam sabers. The weapon emits a much longer and more powerful blade that can easily cut through several mobile suits in a single swing. Its blade length is about 1.5 times that of regular beam saber's also makes it possible to easily break armor made of Gundarium alloy. The Hyper Beam Sabers double as beam cannons when attached to the Back Shield. The Hyper Beam Saber has a power rating of 1.1 MW each, while the beam cannon mode have a power rating of 10 MW each.

I-Field Barrier – Beam Drive System

Unicorn REGRED sports four in built I-Field generator on its shoulder extensions and knee guards. The I-Field forms an invisible 360 degree barrier around the Unicorn REGRED, protecting it from incoming energy attacks. The Unicron REGRED's I-Field is notable not just because it is used to power the machine's movements as part of a reactionless drive but it also has a bio-feedback system of some kind which was integrated with its ability to create Super Dense Psycho Field. When the pilot sits inside the cockpit they become part of the I-Field's loop and the strength of any shield it uses is dependent on the willpower of the pilot as well as the power of the Unicron REGRED itself. Furthermore, the I Field Beam Drive System is also Unicorn REGRED’s primary propulsion system, with its speed and maneuverability is directly controlled by the pilot’s thoughts, Unicorn REGRED can literally move at a speed of a thought. In optimal condition, this gives the Unicorn REGRED Gundam not only an incredible amount of defensive capabilities against beam weapons, it also provide the Gundam with such a speed that, even when its Pilot wears a specialized pilot suit, it still requires them to use the Psycho Field to protect themselves from the resulting brutal G-force. Using it can tax the pilot because it's driven by their own energy and willpower.

Nano Harvest Blade Emitter

An experimental close to mid range armament developed specifically for the Unicorn REGRED as part of its theme of being an Anti Psycho Machine Gundam. It is meant to be the ‘missing link’ that combines the best aspects of Beam Sword’s light weight with the raw piercing power of traditional physical blade. Unicron REGRED carries two of these weapons, stored on the upper portions of its shoulder when not in use. When activated, it took in the Psycho Reactive Nano Machines from REGRED’s Pod to generate a monomolecular katana one atom thick, which is then reinforced using the REGRED’s Super Dense Psycho Field. The Nanomachines at the blade’s edge then revolve at incredible oscillation rate until it is superheated; it’s practically an elegant chainsaw. This mono-molecular micro saw blade can cut through its target at a microscopic level by severing the molecular bond of the Object’s atoms. As the Nanomachine has been treated with Anti Beam coating and reinforced with Super Dense Psycho Field, it can hold up against beam saber (albeit briefly). But most importantly, as it is also a physical weapon, it can easily pierce through most anti beam protection as well as penetrating physical armor. The Nanoblade is also part of the Nanomachine’s self replenishment system. Whenever the blade bites into a target, the nanomachine will deconstruct raw material straight from the damaged target, using it to reconstruct fresh new nanomachines for REGRED.

Star Sweeper System

The four pods attached on REGRED’s body contain fleets of nanomachines which can be stretched along with REGRED’s Super Dense Psycho Field, creating large, iridescent black draconic wings that blanket the stars in vicinity when used in outer space, hence the name. REGRED’s Psycho Frame also seems to emit pinkish purple flames when this system is activated. The nanomachines can be used for defensive purposes as well as for offensive, such as disintegrating artificial matter and absorbing energy from incoming attacks. The Star Sweeper is actually a derivative of the Neo Zeong Psycho Shard Generator, the entire Gundam being the platform for deploying this weapon. Like its Neo Zeonic predecessor, the Star Sweeper can actualize the Pilot’s thoughts within the boundaries of Gundam’s Psycho Field, however, it is now supplemented with the addition of the Nano machine fleet stored within REGRED’s pods. Since Psycho Field being a wave based phenomenon thus capable of deflecting beam cannons, records showed it fared poorly against physical weapons. The Nano Machine was meant to add ‘physical mass’ into the immaterial light based Psycho Field, with the thought actualization capability of the Psycho Shard combined with the Nano Machines of the Star Sweeper, the Pilot can create whatever physical object he can imagine within the boundaries of REGRED’s Super Dense Psycho Field using the Nano Machine. It cannot create complex structures which require chemical reactions such as beam weapons or firearms, but it can induce them and manipulate matter at molecular level – theoretically speaking, it can be used to regenerate the Mobile Suit itself. Ultimately, what can be created within the Psycho Field is limited only by the Pilot’s imagination, the amount of available Nano Machines and the limited range of the Star Sweeper, which is far reduced compared to the Neo Zeong version. This limited range can be mitigated when REGRED is equipped with its Full Scale Armor, giving REGRED additional Nano material stored within its 6 Type-D Shield funnels as well as massively expanding the range of its Psycho Field.

Type-D Shield Funnel

In all RX series Gundams, every unit came equipped with a shield that houses an I-Field Generator, which is operational in both Unicorn mode and Destroy Mode. Like the Unicorn Gundam itself, the shield also transforms and reveals its Psycho-Frame parts during Destroy Mode. Due to the properties of the Psycho-Frame allowing for direct manipulation of an object by a Newtype, Unicorn Gundam is able to use its shields as beam deflecting funnels despite them lacking any thrusters. But despite its effectiveness in battle, this function as a Funnel weapon is considered unintentional, and therefore, the Type-D Shields were designed for Gundam REGRED’s exclusive use specifically as a Funnel Weapon, hence it has no handheld grip – although it can still be used a shield. Stored within the inner chamber of the shield are tubes of Liquid Psycho Frame, with the shield itself being almost as tall as the REGRED itself, two Type-D shields had as much Psycho Frame as a single Unicorn Gundam. REGRED can carry up to 6 units on a rear Backpack mounted recharger pads. In this state, the Unicorn REGRED is denoted as Full Scale Armor mode. The Shield equipment is composed of three parts. The upper half contain a Smart Beam Cannon stored inside the closed maw of the shield, the maw opened revealing Psychoframe Controlled reflector teeth to control the beam flow when firing. The edges of the lower half are Heat hawk axes. At the center of the shield is an on board I-Field Beam drive system for mobility and protection. Apart from that, each Shield Funnel also contains a storage chamber for additional Nanomachine fleet. This, combined with the on board Psychoframe, formed an integral part of REGRED’s Star Sweeper system, amplifying its strength and range to cover an entire battlefield at its maximum output. When all 6 Shields are deployed together in formation, it creates the image of an outstretched draconic wing.

Beast Buster Launcher

A special equipment created exclusively for REGRED’s use. It has two primary weapon forms: one as a hyper beam gatling cannon for a devastating long range assault – Buster Launcher, and the second form as a massive mace like weapon - Buster Hammer. The whole weapon itself is impossibly heavy and dense; it is an absurdly unwieldy equipment no normal Mobile Suit can hope wield. The whole set contains as much Psycho frame as an entire RX series Gundam. When the psycho Frame in this weapon resonates with REGRED’s own Super Dense Psycho Field, it allows the Gundam to withstand the Buster Launcher’s destructive recoil or lift and swing the Buster Hammer easily. In its long range configuration, the Buster Launcher is basically three Beam Magnums linked together in a a revolving Gatling gun frame. It can fire rapidly one barrel after another in quick succession – in which case the Gundam REGRED wield it in under carriage configuration. The second configuration is the cannon mode, in which it sent out one massive energy sphere that implode upon impact, pulling its targets into the epicenter of the explosion. The Buster Launcher can also be mounted with three units of the D-Shield Funnel to further amplify its destructive power to equal that of a Mega Particle cannon – although REGRED cannot move during the firing. In its Buster Hammer configuration, the hammer head is absurdly heavy as it contains the extremely dense Liquid Psycho frame within its holds. This massive concentration of Psycho Frame further concentrate the super dense Psycho Field unto the hammer head, upon impact, it releases such a tremendous concussive force, it amplifies the already prodigious mass of the actual weapon with concentrated Super Dense Psycho Field, even a target as big as a Battleship would be pulverized by sheer mass difference. When necessary, the upper portion of the hammerhead can also detach and function as a remote psychokinetically controlled bludgeoning projectile to engage mid ranged targets.
   Special Equipment & Features
Sub-Arms

A unique feature of Unicron REGRED is that it possesses as many as six sub-arms. Two arms are folded beneath the Unicron REGRED’s armpit also carries a pair of beam saber. Two arms stored in the frontal skirt armor, and another two arms folded on the rear skirt armor. They are much thinner than Unicron REGRED’s main arms, with only three fingers. These sub-arms primarily aid the Unicorn REGRED in reloading the E-pac magazines of its twin hand held Beam magnums, allowing the Gundam to keep holding on to its weapons as it reload. Apart from that, the Sub Arms can also utilize various hand held weapons, such as the spare beam sabers and Nano Blades, granting additional close combat offensive capabilities.

Intention Automatic System

This system is inherited from the Sinanju Stein and functions by using the Psycho-Frame's sensitivity to the pilot's thought-waves to directly affect behavior of the mobile suit. It is also possible for the pilot to intercept the thought-waves of an enemy pilot. Additionally, the system directs the suit's movement when active, and does not completely depend on the pilot for commands. By default, the system will automatically attempt to destroy any Newtype enemies it detects, but requires the pilot to give it a conscience so it does not merely become a killing machine.

Newtype Destroyer System (NT-D)

An anti-Newtype system developed by the Earth Federation, it works by using the Psycho-Frame built within the mobile suit's body to seek out Newtype brainwaves. Should one be found, the NT-D System activates and turns the Unicorn Gundam from its usual "Unicorn mode" into its "Destroy mode", improving its stats overall and allowing it to take control of Newtype weaponry used by others and turn them against them. However, the system has a number of flaws. Its most ironic flaw is that, because of the massive stress the system exerts on its pilot, a Newtype is the best choice to control it. However, those with strong wills can overpower the system. In the case of Unicorn REGRED, this system activates as soon as the Gundam went online and cannot be turned off as this system is so integrated into the REGRED’s functionality, it assume Unicorn mode only when the unit shuts down.

Destroy Unchained

When the synchronization between the Newtype pilot and the Unicorn through the Intention Automatic System as well as the operating level of the NT-D System exceed control range values, it is said that the Unicorn automatically shifts to a mode called "Unchained". The external armor further expands from those of the Destroy mode, exposing more of the internal Psycho-Frame. This is to avoid interference as the entire "full Psycho-Frame" body generates a powerful Psycho field: In a way, it is "unchained" and free from restraint. This secret function, "Destroy Unchained," was considered a last resort and insurance provided for the UC Project. In this state, the Psycommu connection flow limiter is cut off and control of the Unicorn is forcibly transferred from the pilot to the NT-D System. The pilot is treated merely as a "biological component" by the system without consideration for their survival while the Unicorn automatically executes program code for the purpose of defeating enemy Psycommu units, becoming a pure combat machine under complete automatic control.
