Well, looks like she's about to drop your iced tea. At least it wasn't coffee.I had this sketch laying around for a while, and I kept messing with it. I finally got around to inking it. I inked it using microns as usual when I work on paper, but this time I threw in a little bit of ball point pen. I thought there might be an issue since ball-point ink is a little glossier than the felt pens, but the combination worked out nicely.
Up for sale on furbid, for those of you that would like to buy a more clean piece, despite the fact that she's only wearing an apron.

That's funny, that was my worst fear as a waiter. It never came true though. I never dropped either a meal or a drink onto a customer (or the floor) but I had wicked daydreams about it though.
The worst thing that ever happened to me was my own customer's fault. He was bragging to thee beautiful girls about his Mexican heritage and how he can take any amount of spice. Well.... during his bragging, he was shaking this little bottle of Tabasco sauce, and he didn't realize this one had the flow constrictor removed... well.... he found his spice limit! Then he took it personal that I didn't check on stuff like that to make sure nobody overspiced their food (or embarassed themselves infront of three chicas!) He was ready to punch me in the nose. (jerk) His got a free replacement of his mean to respice with a bit more caution. The girls f-ing LOST it in laughter!

It was an accident, one of the things I don't reduce a tip for (especially since often times I get free food then)... Plus if I get lucky I might see something under the apron

Seems like one of those incidents you see in slow motion. You can see it happening a mile away and you want to do all you can to help; but you know that, even though you may have stood (and in my case, started running) to help, you'll never make it in time.
One can only hope for the best.
