Mabel would totally fit in in the 80's! And if we've learned anything, Dipper would too; I'm guessing he'd be a great Michael Jackson impersonator, doing all the dances and stuff.

I could just see him doing a bunch of dances, and, maybe to break the ice, Mabel would join in.
I still can't get the scene of him doing the 'Footloose' Dance out of my head.
