Description Well, it's that time of year again, It's the Spooky Month, October, and you know what that means, It's time for some Halloween Pics for 2023. To clarify, I start the number off from the previous year. As I continue to try and make "The Year of the Loud" a thing, I may have quite a bit of pics relating to The Loud House, although I already did Ronnie Anne's costumes last year. Anyway, we're starting this year's batch off with a scrapped idea that I was originally planning on piggy backing off of the drawing of South Park's Goths from Last year, Here we have the Morticians Club, The Loud House's group of Goth Kids, comprised of Lucy Loud and her friends, Macabre 3rd-4th graders of all shapes and sizes, emphasis on sizes, as noted by the abnormally tall children, but we'll get to that as I've made it a habit to talk a little about these characters in these fanarts from time to time. You should already know Lucy Loud, the residential goth of the Loud Family, front and center with her pet bat, Fangs. She is the Co-president of the club, alongside her best friend Haiku, and interestingly enough a playable character in the smash-like game Nicktoons Allstars Brawl, seems to take a lot after her great grandmother Harriet as well as her ancestor, Lucile from the movie. I notice she is one of the few characters whose ears are generally both visible most of the time, even at the cheated angle, so against my better judgement, I tried drawing her ears in the same way here. I also drew the stripes on her socks with thicker lines. I also included a few of the pale blue shades to better show the lines defining her bangs. Next to her is Haiku, her best friend whom debuted in "Dance Dance Resolution," and whom Lucy originally set up as one of Lincoln's dates to the dance, though she would eventually bond with Clyde over both having crushes on people who won't love them back, and becomes HIS date for the dance. As her name implies, she loves poetry and is also part of the writing club, initially Bertrand wanted to appoint just her as the President until Lucy threw her hat in the ring. Interestingly enough she shares a voice actress with Polly Pain (Georgie Kidder), the girl Lynn set up with Lincoln, similar to how Lynn and Lucy share a VA (Jessica DiCicco). I felt the need to include that shine in her hair, I made her head longer because she seems to have a notably bigger and and longer head, if that makes sense, her open hand may look a little weird, I also notice her eye is a little unique from others as she has a secondary set of eyelashes at the bottom, so I tried incorporating that. I also had a bit of trouble with the end of her dress and the way it folds out like tentacles or something. On the other side is Bertrand, the former club president, voiced by James Arnold Taylor with a very prim and polite voice, he usually has the biggest smile, at one point in "A Grave Mistake," he had to resign due to his parents getting a job on a cruise ship, though he would eventually return in "The Loathe Boat" pleading to his friends to help him get off the ship, though their attempts of getting him off only make things better for the cruise, eventually he just tells his parents that he hates being on the cruise, and they let him stay with his aunt Madeline, which  would also let him come back to the club, as seen in "Bye Bye Birthday." He wasn't too hard to draw, he's a real little fella, though his hair was the only real challenge, if not for getting the tufts, there was also trying to figure out where the fringe was supposed to go, if he even has one, I gave him light blue eyes, I feel like he'd probably get them from his mom, Kim, or something like that. Going back to the left we have Boris, Real name, Robert, voiced by Nika Futterman with a vampire sounding voice, this apothecary Nosferatu lookin', abnormally tall child is so tall, has been called "seven foot angel" and on multiple occasions, has been mistaken for a grandfather. He make look terrifying but he's actually a sweetheart. He's the musician of the club often playing his keyboard like an organ. One of the more prominent members of the group. In the podcast we meet his mother, who has yet to appear onscreen but from the Podcast we know she was voiced by Grey Griffin, works as a decorator, embarrassed her son and also pretended to be a ghost to help the Club, when they were trying communicate with the late Ricky the Rooster, only to discover his ghost may actually be around. Harmless as he is, this kid is one big oddity, in addition to his unusual size, his bones are hollow, which gives him perfect balance and helps when he starts cheering with the Fairway cheerleaders, he can rotate his head 360 degrees, he sleeps with his eyes open and claims to not have blood. The biggest challenge was just getting his incredibly slender body, that and his boots. Like Lucy, both of his ears are visible from the angle so I tried drawing them as such. His arms also gave me a little trouble based on the raptor arms he had in the reference pic I used. On the other side, we have Dante, the little round boy with tan skin and the long violet robe, voiced by Cristina Pucelli, he seems to have an unseen brother, sometimes bat-sits fangs and has a cockatoo named "Captain Ron," as well as a snake, He Haiku and Boris are also the only other members of the club that have appeared in Live Action. Pretty simple to draw him, since he has the robe, though his arms may look a little weird, his hair strands also gave me a bit of challenge with how they go over his eyes. Next to him is Morpheus, who likes wearing capes and is often accompanied by his pet crow, Thorn. He's also voiced by Richard Horvitz and the voice he gives him may be a little similar to "Moxxine's" voice, I'm not sure how to best describe it, it has a slight valley girl feel in the tone. Getting his eyes and glasses in line with his hair was the biggest challenge for him, and maybe getting the crow on his arm, as well. Lastly, we have Persephone, voiced by Lara Jill Miller, another abnormally tall kid, who may be about as tall as Luan, given that she has a similar design to her, basically looking like a goth version of Luan, even having her buck teeth and braces. She is often seen holding a purple parasol, likely to shield her from the sun, and she's pretty good at dancing. She might be my favorite non-Lucy member of the club, or maybe I just really like her style. I also like to ship her with Boris, whom I also considered as a potential favorite member. The Parasol was definitely the biggest challenge, mainly due to the handle, but after looking at some good fanart of her, I was able to use that as a reference for the top part.
Loud House characters belong to Nickelodeon.
