Description Winslow has always been a science wiz, which is surprising considering all the other ways he chooses to occupy his time. But he has a knack this sort of stuff–especially genetic experimentation, which has given him many profitable successes (including the fierce apple pieger, now used by the U.S. military). While today’s comic doesn’t deal with genetics or pie, it does show Winslow knee deep in science and badger pulp. Little Winslow, a gnome, and a tiny clown are assisting, only because it’s been a while since I drew tiny clowns.

The question here really isn’t whether or not the experiment was successful. The question is what the five previous experiments were. Because if we’re only six experiments in, and we’ve already started hacking badgers apart with axes, I want to know how things escalated.

Glad someone tested that theory! Takes one more experiment off of my list...

Maybe things would proceed faster if they axed the badgers more specific questions?

Maybe they should be chopping lawyers in half to see if superlawyers are still possible?

Hopefully, my comments about chopping things in 'alf won't make me sound like a 'alfwit.

Looks great.

Ah, but we wouldn't have known without the trailblazing power of science leading the way out of the inky night of ignorance. But now we know. And knowing...

Badgers explode when chopped with an axe? Thank you Winslow, you have helped science!

Science asks the questions, Winslow provides the answers.

Did any of his previous experiments involve bringing a garden gnome to life? Because if so, I can totally see how that little guy joined the team.

Garden gnomes are household vermin. Why would anyone bring a dead one back to life?

Yeah...I wonder what those other six experiments were...
Possibly to find out if you could create super gerbils?

So, cutting a badger in half with an axe causes badgersplosions?

That tiny clown in the unicycle should have his own talk show.

Maybe he already does, and we just don't know about it. Only plays on clown TV.

Woah You learn something new every day

That said, this cartoon was laugh-out-loud funny until I realised it was, indeed, badger pulp covering Winslow. Now it's been downgraded to a chortle and a humoured shake of the head. Shame on you
