Very impressive! I had a snow flake DD last year, but mine's only 2.74:1. Your setup looks crazy! I tried to do glass, but basically failed, because I couldn't get a clean enough piece of glass... I also used natural light though, whereas you do backlit with a flashlight - great idea!

me and my wife love snow flakes... I'd sit in my truck outside of her work waiting for her to finally close down for hte day and when it was jsut starting to snow... when you're getting the first few individual flakes and the really small clusters, I'd enjoy watching them hit the window...
