Name: Eryniell (Original name: Betty Flaske)
Story: Lindoarnad's influentials (...!)

Once upon a time, in a citystate far, far away, an influential man lived. That man was mocked for his size. That man, decided to twist the narrative. He did not lack discipline, nor was he addicted. It was merely the logical conclusion, for someone with so much excess in wealth and power, that his body follows suit. This... useful narrative, once mocked, was repeated by his son, and his son's son, and so forth, until it slowly became accepted, even embraced.

Betty Flaske is the noble daughter, oldest of the Flaske children, which makes her a very important asset to family's goals. As such she must represent their wealth. And were the Flaskes lucky, as the girl packed on pounds just looking at cake. This led to Betty becoming the biggest girl in town by a notable amount, and by more than a few considered to be the most beautiful.

However, Betty herself did not share the views of the city, regarding her size, but by the time she was old enough to consciously against her, she already took a minute just standing up, and her parents expected her to marry the wealthiest family in the city, leading to a collaboration for the benefit of both. It was hard to say no to such an important deal. Thus she grew. She took comfort in books, reading of men and women running on the open plains. Of adventure, and of the miraculous workings of nature. She began to write stories herself, of the elven girl Eryniell, adventures out in the open world, exploring forests, treating with fairies. Fighting with giant scorpions.

One day, her family decided, largely to give in to betty's requests, to have a picnic in a nearby forest. As their immense carriage rolls over the path (not intended for carriages that size) however, bandits attack them. In a spectacular manner the carriage pulls into two separate pieces, to everyone's shock. Her parents and sister sat in the back, and with the carriage split in two they've fallen over, eating dirt. Eryniell sat alone on the other side, the side pulled by the horse, the horse that is only going faster, and faster, and faster, separating her. She's become a hostage of daring bandits, planning to sell her back, as the heir is so very important to any big family in the city. One of the bandits is guarding her. A futile task really, Betty wasn't going anywhere at her size.

However, the guard was a surprising young woman herself. A half-elf named Nyndanshia, who immediately treated the captive like a friend. A weird girl, she seemed unaware that Betty's size was unnatural, and it took minutes of explaining why said size meant Betty couldn't move much at all. And the most surprising thing the half elf didn't understood, was that Betty was a captive. It drove Betty up the wall, as if the elf was trying a fancy new interrogation method, but she finally cracked, and told the half-elf exactly what her situation was. The situation the elf was guarding. The half-elf was appalled by the horrors her companions were causing. They hatched a daring escape together, which almost failed because the elf severely overestimated Betty's estimate of the "couple of steps" she could take. But Nyndanshia's skill with a bow, and paralysis-tipped arrows got them to safety.

Eryniell didn't want to return to the slog of her fattening life however. Perhaps it was the rush of adrenaline, and the separation from her parents to finally push her to live her own life, the way she would want to. She started referring to herself as Eryniell so her parents wouldn't hear about their precious daughter, and together with Nyndanshia, they had a very slow road trip, finally making their way to Lindoarnad by boat, where they began to exersize together. Eryniell lost almost all of her excess weight through sheer determination and absolutely not listening to her half-elven friend when it comes to dinner. This immense weight loss has been both an inspiration and source of anxiety for Garminé, who knows her through their common friend Nyndanshia.
