hey, how did you get the half tone on the face and shoulder?

Kind of a long process. first i covered all the black with masking tape, so basically a stencil but made of tape. I painted the lighter color first and let it dry completely. then I took masking tape and covered over the areas where I did not want the darker color. I then made a large sheet stencil which is just circles, laid it down and sprayed the darker color, take off the stencil, remove the masking tape and you have a half tone pattern. It takes a while to do a project like this because each layer needs to dry completely before the next but the end result is worth it.
