Description Hey! I already feel in Winter.. but winter is cool because there is raclette, and you can warm up under your blanket.
But winter is also the best season to hope to come across Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark (best transition ever). These fearful Pokémon are afraid of humans, hiding and are also quite rare.
Hisuian Zorua and its evolution are inspired by kitsune 狐 (fox in english, but also refers to folklore and yokai). Kitsune 狐 is also the name of a family of yokai, often represented in white and red. They are spirits, which explains the choice of the Ghost type. Because of their fox nature, Kitsune 狐 are quite close to Kyubi 九尾, the 9-tailed fox yokai. The Kitsune 狐 are well known because they are very present in pop culture (manga, video games), and the image of the fox mask is very represented. It is not for nothing that we find the mask of Zoroark in the game Pokemon Legends Arceus.
Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark are also inspired by the "Hokkaido Fox" (Vulpes vulpes schrencki), a local subspecies of the red fox, living only in Hokkaido and Sakhalin. The reference to Hisui is therefore obvious, since the Hisui/Sinnoh region is based on the Hokkaido region in Japan.
