And now after writing that title, I am gonna listen to the mimikyu song. YES MIMIKYU I WILL ALWAYS BE YOUR FRIEND ;~;Seriously this is my favorite pokemon from Gen 7. I'm quite a sucker for sad ghosties! Especially when they just wanna make new friendos. ;; it's.... not like I can relate to that... or anything.... *sobs in corner*

XD I joke about that a lot, but I like the two in different ways. Pikachu is fun and playful, but Mimikyu strikes me as that sad kid that hid in the corner at recess and just wanted friends. I just want to pick it up and give it hugs, and tell it that it's worthwhile. I've always been a sucker for ghost types. Sure, some are just plain scary, but a lot of them are written as misunderstood, or just playful tricksters. Same with a lot of dark types. Most of my favorites in each generation (Misdreavus, Shuppet, Absol, Froslass, Mimikyu, Yamask, Litwick, etc.) are ghost pokemon... I guess that's why my main Pokemon AU character is a ghost/dark type trainer who's... just a normal dude. Divorced, has two kids (one went to live with mom), travels with his daughter around the world as a trainer. I mean... he has a Darkrai that follows him around and is basically his butler, but other than that, normal! (He'd actually rather the Darkrai stop acting like his butler and just be a family friend. It's all Darkrai's doing that he acts like that, lol.)

Wow, you can make that a canon Pokemon story, making pokemon so dark yet badass. I agree with your view on Pika and Mimi, Mimi is that one silent character oyu wanan go hug and love. x3 I adore such style of characters. Mischevious silent characters who are just wanting love.
