This is my part of an art trade withI did it a few weeks ago and I liked it; naturally I hate it now
Except for the bg this was done all in one layer, I love drawing in one layer..

...FUCK. COLORING. Darling you need to teach me your ways. This is in Sai, right? (I'm too lazy to read through the comments again, uh hurr) I've always wanted to achieve that hard edge + smooth shading look (like on the jacket) HOW DO YOU DO IT. I'll gladly sell limbs or parts of my soul if you'd make me a tiny tutorial or SOMETHING. Or maybe you've got one of those around...? I'll have to go stalking around your delicious gallery.

yes, this was done in sai, i havent made a sai tutorial but i did one for photoshop, it should be somewhere in my gallery
there's nothing much to teach about these lineless illustrations; its just patience until you get the result you are aiming for (or at least, as close as you can)

I'm using you for my own personal gain when I ask this (harhar): do you know any way I can get Sai for free? I downloaded the trial, totally forgot about it, and now it ain't free anymore, haha. I heard it doesn't work on Macs? I'm most likely getting a Mac for college, so I'd rather not pay like $50 for a program I'll only be using for a few months. XD But...but I do want to keep using it for a while, so that's gonna be a problem. ANYWAY. Yeah. Please let me know. c: But you don't have to. It's okay, really. XD

Yes, that's right, sai doesnt work on mac, and i dont like them personally; they are kinda a pain but hopefully you will get a good one C:
