I had the pleasure to paint this for a friend and I like the result. x) The painting isn't bad, ha?Well, it could not have been bad because of the drawing. Look at that, man! It's perfect!

And sorry to disappoint you, but I don't really know the background history of the drawing. 
I guess I really never had the curiosity to even know what as going on with spidey. But hey! I'm interest now, haha.
So if you can tell me more, I'd appreciate it.

There's a lot of spoiler to it but I'll tell you about when the Green Goblin finds out about Spider-Man's secret identity. He attacks him when he's in his civies aa Peter and kidnaps him. Then he reveals himself to be a mentally disturbed Norman Osborn. They fight there's a fire, Norman gets amnesia and spidey destroys the Goblin costume and tells the cops that Norman helped him defeat the Goblin. The issue I read recently didn't even reveal the title until the end. Wanna know what happens or ya wanna read it?

I read comics on comixology. I love reading the classics. I also get through the Dark Phoenix Saga in X-Man last week. Too bad the movie took a huge dump on that story arc

MAJOR SPOILER!!
Norman gets his memory back goes bonkers again and kidnaps Gwen Stacey, the love of Peter's life. He takes her to the George Washington Bridge and lures Spidey out there. There they fight and in that fight Gwen falls off the bridge. When she does, Spidey tries to save her with his web. By doing so, he inadvertently snaps her neck. He realizes this when he pulls her up. Spidey and Gobey fight again in a warehouse and spidey beats Goblin to a pulp. He sends his glider to strike Spidey from behind but like in the movie he dodged it and it kills Goblin. Gwen's death was a major turning point in comics. It was the end of the silver age and the beginning of the darker bronze age.
