Here I come late as always with my magnificent chibi Gumi
Actually a regular chibi XD
I really REALLY love Gumi, her music always makes my day and there is something in her voice that makes glad of her music pretty warm , she is definitely among my favorites
There are still 2 more vocaloid chibis to go XD, two males this time (even tho I'll probably end up drawing more with time XD)

tbh Gumi is one of my favorite Vocaloids, I always liked how clear her voice was and her English is one of the best i've heard from a non English Vocaloid, I think.

I know >w< <3, she don't just have a nice and appealing design, her voice is also super smooth and soft, her voicebank is quite easy to understand even without lyrics X3 <3, so I got to agree with you with the English thing XD

Her voice I find is the most human of the vocaloids, although there are many more vocaloids since Gumi was last released (I can't keep up with them all!), and Vocaloid technology is improving all the time, so there are probably other loids that sound just as human. Her English is also the best for a Japanese Vocaloid so far.

Indeed, she got a super understandable English tbh, from the newest ones I would say that Yohioloid is probably the one that can compare a bit to her in terms of human-like voice and neat English, I have not heard his more recent songs tbh, so I should double check it before saying he surpasses here tho XP

Well, another thing in terms of Vocaloids sounding human, is the person making the song. There are some Miku songs out there where she does sound human. Just look at Hitobashira Alice. They all sound very human like, and I think this was just with first generation cryptonloids.
