Description After spending the evening with Gretel and co., instead of trying to trek my way through the unfamiliar, sketchy darkness of the forest, I decided to make camp on the spot. With night passing oddly fast, I awakened early the next morning by a strange dream. The weather took an abrupt turn for the less comfortable. The once brisk forest now feeling like a tropical jungle. Gretel and Co. were long gone leaving behind a smoldering fire pit. Out of the corner of my sight, I make out faint movement and quickly noticed what seemed like a person squatting by some nearby bushes. Naturally, my gaze is fixed on this being until I could uncover what or whom it was.

It wasn't long before this being stood up where I was able to make out a a tall, thin woman with an unusually large hat on. She was sifting through some plants she just picked like a deck of cards and gently shoved them in her flower bag or whatever its called. As she was messing around with her bag, she just suddenly stopped for a few seconds before shooting her head up to look dead at me. This sent a tsunami chill through my whole body to which I just started play it off like I was just pushing myself off the ground which I actually was with the spook factor now red-lining my freshly rebooted brain.

The whole time I was packing up and brushing my self off, I felt the uncanny sense of being watched, looked up where I last saw her but instead she was closer and just standing there glaring at me intently. My eyes accidently locked with hers and was almost as if I was paralyzed for a few seconds. Although somewhat unnerving, there was a fleeting aire of familiarity in her eyes. She held this gaze even as she approached me. Her gait was light and graceful, but one thing that took me aback was how big her feet were. I mean, her shoes proportionally matched her hat but her head was of regular size. Wasn't sure if her feet had the same thing going on, but whatever, least of my concerns at this point.

As she walked past me, I couldn't help but stare at her. Meaning, I felt physically incapable of looking away. Making her way to wherever she was going, I had enough presence of mind to inquire with her as to the whereabouts of the 'banished one'. Again, she froze in her tracks, turned her head, "You may accompany me...if you wish" she uttered in a slightly raspy but elegant Latin accent and continued walking. Her tone inviting but laced with mild agitation. Hell, I figure if anyone's going to provide a decent lead on this quest, she'd be my best bet. As we walked, for what I'm sure were miles, we end up at and old, moss and vine covered cottage in the middle of the forest. It was hard to get any more obvious what was going down at this point.
