A commission for
I really liked the character so I decided to paint him - I just lovee his clothes ( = u / -
instead of doing the same old line art then colour then shade. ^-^
It took so L O N G D: 2 and 1/2 days + lack of sleep LOL. But it was fuuuuuun !

I'm not sure if I got the theme right though. D:
It ended up like a portal.. water portal? ._." and I added some sort of "magic" ball which is hovering over his right hand.
He's actually holding his sword with his left but those light stuff just covered it up like B A M !
The random bushes have appeared again. . Could you see it?

But the backstory.. (I'm not good with it lol..) :

Sir Richard, a young man with a pure heart, was a well-known paladin, who worked for the Great King of some random kingdom. He was an orphan and was raised by two mere peasants who seem to love him very much- until they sold him off to the king who was in need of soldiers "I'm sorry, son but we need the money" they said.

After many years of hard work, he was finally recognised and was promoted. He was very good with the sword and was the strongest out of them all, which left some of his "friends" very jealous.

One day..

The paladins of insert kingdom name here followed the law of the kingdom and protect the weak and innocent, just like any other day. Richard and his group were patrolling in the nearby forest when suddenly Richard fell amongst the oddly coloured bushes. "I've never seen these bushes before.." he said as he dusted off the dirt on his clothes. He turned around and went back to their campus then- " ...Richarddd... ...richaaarrddd.. " He looked back but there was no one there, but a light seeming to be a magic crystal ball. He said to himself "..It's probably a prank." But he reaches for it anyway.

When he finally obtained it in his hand, there was a flash. He covered his eyes automatically as a portal appeared right in front of him. He opened his eyes in disbelief.. "I'm seeing things.." The magic ball started to hover over his right hand, glowing brightly. He took a step forward, clutching his longsword, aware of what's coming ahead..

Is it too long? ._. "
