A painting of Dulai and Keyoh enjoying the chill of early morning.This took much longer to complete than I expected.
Was really fun to paint nonetheless. I wanted to go more intense with the pink sunrise but was too scared 
Maybe a more soft look is better for morning though, eh?Duali (front) is a fictional species of Antarctic killer whale, a caramel variant.
Keyoh (back) is also a fictional species of Antarctic killer whale. He is a shadow killer variant.

I sincerely wish a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year to all those who watch me and beyond. It's been a great year, and especially rewarding with the creation of my fictional species Antarctic Orcas. So to celebrate, I'm creating a contest for these beautiful coffee colored creatures.
The fun part about this contest is, everyone who enters will receive 15
. You can draw the Orcas in any situation, as many as you'd like, with any theme, back ground or not, as long as its colored, and does not have to be shaded. This is a little bit of a holiday gift to give to you, and to make a fun, simple contest out it. So there really are not many rules except to draw and color Antarctic Orcas. Lovely painting, Naih. The softness of the light really accentuates the gentle nature of the scene, I think, despite the splashes. The color transition between the water's surface and beneath is done very well.
Their eyes both stand out very much, whereas Keyoh can almost be mistaken for Dulai's shadow at a glance. Or that was the impression I had on seeing the thumbnail. Very ying-yang in theme between their poses and their coloration.

Definitely similar. I love dark markings in orcas, it really gives them a cool look.

Keyoh is a gorgeous orca.
yeah, when i first did KITT's design, i adored it. and considering his red "life source" thing on him was the only color he had, it seemed to fit. I know most of the orcas i do are a really dark blue, not totally black because i don't want them to look over exposed, but KITT is a different story..
Feel free to draw him again sometime! I know there will be more of KITT from me in the future.. I have to get done with the series first though, David Hasselhoff is one of the main reasons i watch the show..

Very cute! c: I like the water splashes near the top you make, and the shininess to the skin as it's out of the water. They both look full of spunk and happy to just play about around the ice. :'D
