Thank you, As far as a premise for why or how this would happen I actually had several theories floating around in my head, one which consist of them being in an alternate universe where they still had their powers and all but due to their supernatural abilities they have abnormal bone growth rendering them as outcast in the eyes of society. However thanks to the workings of the soul Society and Hueco Mundo that they are secretly affiliated with they were able too have them removed!
