While whips are not utilized in combat in the Realm of Searbigh, they are often used by torturers, interrogators, inquisitors and other enforcers of the law whose job is to either punish criminals or extract sensitive information from prisoners of war. The cat o’ nine tails is mostly used by prison guards to dole out punishment to unruly prisoners.
