Wow, here's a scene redraw that was wayyy long overdue. I thank that tumblrpal for pestering me about drawing Gene in a hoodie.Anyway, "O.T. The Outside Toilet" is still my favorite Bob's Burgers episode involving Gene, at least I very much think so, and it has a lot to do with the voice acting which was WAY too convincing for such a stupid story. XD I loved that episode. And it got me emotional. So there.

you know, it's episodes like this one that makes me wanna hug the shit outta Gene ;m; poor kid must not have very many friends anyway, this is really sweet (in kind of a silly way, but that's probably cuz of the storyline XD), and Gene looks adorable in that hoodie X3

I'M RIGHT BEHIND YOU THOUGH. Gene does look like he doesn't have many friends and the potential friends he could have are probably too grounded in reality and "seriousness" rules for him to care... Poor kid T^T No wonder he befriends talking toilets T^T
(There's also the whole "Gene wants to be a mother to take proper care of someone" thing going on in that episode, as reminded me once when we were watching it together... It makes the whole thing ever sadder T^T)

I have to count how many episodes it's appeared in. That tumblr person who pestered me about drawing Gene in a hoodie labelled themselves 'advocate for hoodie Gene' and keeps track of those things XDD I can't... XDDD It's amazing.
Aw, I feel for you! T^T I did have a few friends, but overall people didn't interest me much and I didn't interest them much either... I guess I relate to Gene more in terms of approach to art. Some parts of the Itty Bitty Ditty Committee episode were hard to watch... XD
(I sort of imagine Gene would be kind of dangerous to hug if he hugs back... He reminds me of one my little bros when he was a kid, and that kid would BEAR-HUG YOU SO FREAKING TIGHT IT HURT every time you dared hugging him. I wouldn't have trouble imagining Gene doing the same, therefore XD)

me too. I've always been that one weird kid XD. I kinda relate to all the Belcher kids in some way, shape, or for, which is why it was so hard for me to decide which one was my favorite. yeah, the part where Gene kinda just gave up on music was so sad (XDDD hmm, maybe Gene is stronger than he looks X3 then again so am I XD besides, Louise is the pint-sized powerhouse of the family, so I feel like maybe Gene would be safer to hug....but that's my opinion.)
