(Way too many pink bunny ears on my page lately.)Oh, hi, Bob. What are you doing in this gallery after over one year and a half of me drawing so much fan-art of this series you're the main character of? That was very disrespectful of me, wasn't it? I can't even draw you properly yet. Agh.
That aside, the relationship between Bob and Louise is one of the best in the series. Again, it's one of those things that work so well I could write a whole essay out of it. But because I'm trying not to be too creepy, I'll just limit myself to this drawing for now.
Tough love indeed.
(I still have trouble dealing with the big size difference between Louise and Bob. I need to master it more.)

I am so incredibly late at drawing poor Bob. And I still really lack practice. I should draw him more to get the hang of it... (Drawing Bob totally feels like drawing Gene though. Just like drawing Linda feels like drawing Louise.)

I think this scene was my favorite. Louise being agressive out of "lack of love" works so well on so many levels.

Yeah, the burn unit is such an adorable moment! There's so much respect and understanding in this family, between children, teens and adults alike, and those two are the best embodiment of it. For instance, I love how in the latest episode, Bob asked to speak to Louise in private to ask her if she could kindly play along until things got better. And how Louise somehow tried to calmly reason with her Dad for a while. In a perfect world, all adults and children should communicate this way.
