The expression you have captured here with the ferocious sense is really well drawn. Also the work with the shading looks wonderful. Very nice piece.

Thank you so much for the comment! Those were probably the most fun parts of the piece for me.

The ferocity of the Worgen can be felt through the piece! I have featured this piece fav.me/d70c9xh as your favorite of 2013.

This really stood out in your gallery, the lighting looks great. The brightest part on the side of the characters face creates a focal point and everything else can fade into shadow and still be readable. Also I really like how the darker side of the face creates a contrast against the lighter patch in the background, but not so bright that it takes away from the focal point. This picture just has a bit of a professional feel and I think the texture really helped that. If you want some constructive criticism - the shoulder armour looks a bit flat or oddly shaped.
Great job!

Thank you for the detailed comment! I'm still really bad at perspective, so the armor, being so close to the viewer, was probably a bit difficult to me ^^' I appreciate that you took the time to point out what you like and didn't like; it's extremely helpful for me to learn what to do.

Oh, I forgot to add..
as per your poll-question, ah, go for "Sasha (Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan)".Β
If what I saw is correct, then "Sasha (Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan)" should compliment you...

Hehe, yeah. The point of my next cosplay is that I want it to not require a wig, so I think Sasha will be easy and fun, especially since I love the design of the jackets xD Though I'm still planning on Dogkeeper, I probably just won't get it for a while.

Aye, agreed, love the jacket. I'm curious, how much would it think to make that jacket? I'm thinking of, ah, maybe, making or have someone make that jacket .
If you don't mind sharing the info, that is. Β
* if you do it yourself, how do you do it, how much did you need for your material, how long?
* if you do it done by someone, how much (usually)?
I've heard of "Attack of the Titan" before, so yeah... I just think it'll look better for you, I mean, do whatever you want... just with me, I just think "Sasha" would look good on you.

Unfortunately, I don't have the skill to sew myself. My sister is good at sewing, but this particular cosplay she isn't making for me. (She will be making something else that will be debuting at the same con, though!) Up until now, most of my cosplays have been bought either online or at a store that specializes in anime.Β
If I had an Attack on Titan jacket made by someone, though, including materials, it would probably cost about the same as it did for me to buy it in the store, which was $60.Β
Thanks! ^^

I can relate, NO! Wait.. .. no I can't, I can't even sew. Must a gender thing, debatable but whatever. Mother's good at sewing, anyway. Ah, so you're going to a con, eh. Well, have fun. What con you going to? You guys, have ToyCon over there? That's the first con, that I've ever been thing, and I was NOT disappointed.
I don't trust anything, or not alot "online". I prefer, in real life, where I can actually use the fabric and the actual measurements. :shiftyL
well, that's, ah, well, fabric's better alot though, in my opinion.
You're welcome!

Yes, worrying about the costume fitting is always one of the reasons I tend to be cautious about buying them online.Β
The next con I'm going to is Sakura-Con, in April.

Yep, plus, often, I don't look... it looks different in real life, if oyu know what I mean. It's like, satin looks fantastic on a photograph but in real life, not as much. Still nice to wear though.
"April", good grief.. and you're already preparing?! how big is this con? Must be a big one.

Aki-rain In reply to Hehayo [2013-12-01 16:10:56 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I always take a long time to prepare because I get so excited. xD I do a lot of things, too, like the karaoke contest, and I also do some dancing-type things that I need to be rehearsed for. I think it was 18,000 people (that's cumulative across all three days, I think) when I first went in 2012, and next April will be my third year there.Β

_o; you join those? ... well, I can't sing, so, good luck with that !
Aahh, that explains why... you rump, I mean, you participate in the, ah, walking on stage thing? Rumping, I don't know what the official term is.Β
I've never done that, kinda shy, I prefer to be behind the eye of the/a camera . 18, 000k.. isn't bad, I don't think I've ever been to such a con that big before, yeah, good luck with that.

I don't dance on stage... I just go outside, turn on my music and dance to songs. xD Sometimes people end up watching.

Hehayo In reply to Aki-rain [2013-12-01 17:46:20 +0000 UTC]
, no, no, that's not what I meant. You know, it's the thing that some or most cosplayers do. They walk on stage, strike a few poses(relevant to their character) and sometimes some say a short phrase at the end.
It's like, when Green Lantern (horrible movie -_-), the live version came out... the following con, a lot of people dressed up as, ah, lanterns? Yyeaahhh... xD

Oh, yeah! That happens in the cosplay contest at Sakura-Con, I think. I've never entered, because I don't make my own cosplays and I feel like it would be weird to enter when I just bought a cosplay online. I would have fun doing the acting part of it, though. xD
