Description
Atro had informed Quinn that she would be escorting DeLucci down to the sewers for her initiation test. The two female Mafia Hounds traveled further and further through the sewer system, the only light to guide their way coming from the occasional drain vent above them. DeLucci could hear the hungry rats trail them through as they went.

Quinn finally stopped at the front of a dead end tunnel. A sloping ramp led downwards straight into the most rancid smelling sewage they had come across. As her eyes scanned the top of the water, she could see old tin cans, chunks of mysterious substances, and broken bottles amongst the murky water. It had a greenish tint to is, and from what she could see, it was thicker than the average collection of water.

Quinn eyed Delucci as she sat at the edge of a ledge and laid down. Something told DeLucci that the second in command did not usually sit so close to something as disgusting as the water she was presented with; perhaps she was very curious to see how her old acquaintance would fare. "Swim through it. Reach the far wall and return. If you don't drown the process, you might just find yourself as the newest member of the Di Fonga gang." she said in a cool tone. The females looked each other in the eye, both looking back with unreadable expressions.

As soon as Quinn had finished speaking DeLucci began to wade through the water. She could tell it would be very difficult, so she didn't waste a large amount of energy from the get-go by jumping in and swimming with all her might. She walked as far down into the sewage as she could before she began to swim. The rotten water instantly soaked down to her skin and made the thick fur on her neck even heavier, which strained her neck even further. She began to pick up speed and amid her paddling, her paw struck something in the water below her that, based on the mass, was a dog who was not nearly as lucky as some others. Breathing began to become more difficult as her claws finally hit the far wall. She propelled herself off of it as best she could; the extra effort helped gain her a few extra feet but also nearly caused her entire body to disappear below the sewage. It began to slowly fill her mouth and nose and she worked her strained muscles to reach her starting point, where Quinn looked on with a calm expression.

Finally, her paws his solid ground again, and she heaved herself out of the sewage. She walked up the ramp, thick water pouring from all sides of her, bits of trash slowly trickling down her leg. She simply let the water drain from her mouth and nose as she coughed once and sat. She gazed at Quinn, thinking her old friend was probably relishing in another dog degraded before her, but then again.. maybe she wasn't. The old Quinn would not have, but who knows what had happened to her since they were pups.

She gave Quinn a smile that was a mixture of smugness and amusement as she asked, "What's the verdict?"

Either she was in, or she was out. She knew that in her case, the result was not based solely on her performance. She could either be accepted because she had done well and that she knew Quinn, or rejected for how she did, and also, because she knew Quinn..

This took me long enough to get around to making! This is the picture for DeLucci's initiation into the Di Fonga Hounds in the RP group . Unfortunately I kind of ended up rushing the bg because I wanted to get this done haha. Let's hope she did well enough to become part of that gang!
