Tales from Earthsea is one of movies from Studio Ghibli.the producer Goro Miyazaki is son of Hayao Miyazaki.
I think this movie is reflecting japan today.
why so many japanese tend to suicide, why some children kill their parents,,
to me, it's unusual.
I could sympathize some of part of the movie, though.
