Sometimes you just gotta get your feelings out, and my way is always through my artwork, but hey! Sometimes sadness leads to beautiful art

thus was a sketch originally that I ended up really liking (also was too lazy for line art tonight ) and erased some of the lines to clean it up and took an opportunity to practice my shading technique!
Gotta say, this is one of my best in a while and I’ve always loved monochrome art in its simplicity, I’ll definitely be doing more of this in the future

also little lore tip: ever wondered why Petals fur always looks messy? Skipping some details here but it’s actually because she suffers depression and bullying from her fellow warriors, and hardly bothers to take care of her fur as a result
