Love this!...actually the lighting isn't odd at all; it adds a little eeriness to the mood of the painting. Feels like the this owl is staring into the depths of my soul...what do you see, Mr. Owl? What do you see?...(O_o) Great job!

Thank you very much! I know I had to keep repainting the left eye because I would either make it too big or I would not create the light affect correctly. I am actually pretty proud of this painting. I don't have it anymore though because I gave it to a friend. I am currently working on another wolf painting for another friend. After that I have another canvas and I am trying to figure out what to paint. I was probably thinking a scenery. Any suggestions?

Hmmm....have you ever painted scenery of a foreign country? The Great Wall of China, Stone Henge, El Hotel del Salto in Colombia, the Eiffel Tower at night....or any scenery out of the country that takes your breath away!
