Dark clouds hid the sun the day Oswald and Ukku returned from their first encounter with Quingalo. Everyone present at camp became alert to the situation at the coast but no one was willing to set out for a hopefully final confrontation. No one except for Helen and Emmi.
"If you plan to go back.", said Helen who has only been at camp for a couple month. "Me and Emmi will come with you."
Oswald looked like he wanted to decline. To tell her to stay put, take another job opportunity. But no. He offered her his helmet to wear. Glad she accepted the offer.
Emmi curiously and highly nervous pestered Ukko for information on their foe. What she heared didn't fill her with confidence. And certainly not the blood she smelled on the experienced pairie. In the end she regretted getting answeres.

The next day was just as bleak as the one before which surprised absolutely no one. Especially not Emmi. She watched Helen, Oswald and Ukko gear up and got self concious about her lack of armor.
"After this is done.", said Helen, scratching her behind the horns. "I'll make sure you'll get armor."
She sounded like everything would turn out fine and Emmi wanted to believe it badly.
The pair followed Oswald and Ukko to shore where they didn't need to search for long. The Sea Eater found them and breached the water.
Helen dismounted to aid the other three with bow and arrow. The two humen agreed that this was probably a better tactic instead of both charging with melee weapons. She watched Ukko and Oswald charge on and confront the beast head on. Emmi sprinted after and attacked the fin to keep Ukkos right flank as safe as she possibly could but it's tough skin.

Collaboration with the madly talented RoutArt ! I am so proud and happy we did this!!
Routa worked on lineart and the entire background + extra shadow touches to the characters.
I did the initial sketch and coloring + shading on the characters and added general texture.

For Jalo's Boss battle :
Ukko is the attacker.
Emmi is a defender.
