Description

Muriel Sparks is a teenager with the ability Memento Mori. Her ability allows her to bring the dead back to life as long as she has some part of their original body, and enough supplies to make up for whats missing and whatever killed them. This is pretty much chemicals and the like that make up the body, as well as her own blood, and can get quite expensive. Less she has, the more expensive. If she only has one bone it's going to cost her a LOT to bring the person back. Once the person is brought back they come back with everything intact, including ability if they had one, but under her command. As long as they're not directly ordered by her they have free will, but they cannot disobey an order. Whatever she brings back does degrade over time if she doesn't maintain them, maintenance mostly being in the form of her blood or some chemicals to revitalize the body. Degradation takes the form of Multiple Organ Failure. Symptoms tend to set in, for humans, within 2 weeks. She can bring back animals as well, and she often does this to spy. The smaller an animal, the shorter the period they last before maintenance is needed, but the less expensive maintenance and reviving is. Things like small birds or rats/mice can last maybe 2-3 days before symptoms set in. Larger like cats or bigger birds can maybe last a week or so.

She has a vendetta against the Port Mafia and specifically against Paul Verlaine for killing her father (and her uncle but not as big of a loss). Is the cousin of Fuku Nakahara (friends OC) and Chuuya Nakahara. She took her moms last name. She also does not go by Muriel, she hates it and thinks it's an old ladies name, she instead insists on using Riel.

Loves Gothic Lolita fashion, and the macabre in general. When not out for revenge or with a job in mind, she is a legitimately shy and awkward teenager with a care for animals and people. On the other hand when she is out for revenge or has some sort of goal in mind usually, she can become a lot more deranged and merciless. Though she is still unlikely to sacrifice animals, as she cares for them greatly. Especially her pet raven, Poe, who she brought back to life. She'll happily order one of her "puppets" as she sees them, humans brought back to life under her will, to kill someone, but she would in fact cry if she had to try and kill someone with her own hands or the like. Put a gun in her hands and she'd freeze up and panic. She often acts like a dramatic spoiled child. "My name is Riel! Like AsRIEL the angel of DEATH!" "Her name is Muriel..." "I HATE THAT NAME IT'S SUCH AN OLD LADIES NAAMMMEEEE!!"

Her Father died in Verlaine's bid to kill anyone close to Chuuya to "free him" but her and her mother were in America at the time. Her mother spiraled into a depression after her father's death, and while they moved back to Japan, Riel's mother wasn't long for this world. Riel was left on her own, and ended up hating Verlaine, and through that the Port Mafia for taking him in. She has now spent years gathering information and corpses to bring back, all in a bid to take down Verlaine, the Port Mafia, and anyone who once worked for the Port Mafia.
