Description
This project was abandoned and restarted several times, then finally I decided to finish it this month. I'm on a paid leave from work due I have still 2 weeks of old dayoffs from previous year. Based on a official scan, it has been vectored, partially redesigned and recolored (fixing many coloring issues of the original) and extended on sides to match the 16:9 widescreen resolution. Water and background was done with my own resources and I kept those cloud brushed especially for a kawaii art style anime, just like Lucky Star is. I have some good memories of this series, since it was the top series of the year back in 2007, when I started making anime wallpapers. I kinda liked on the scanlation that it focuses onto side characters and vice versa - it puts the main characters (Konata and co.) rather into the background. Title translates as "Stars of the Summer" from japanese.
