After nearly a month, Ookami has posted something new!Yessums. Tis I, anthro-fied =3
And yes, that's pretty much what my hair looks like. Mine's a little shorter when in a braid, but not by that much. And my hair tends to fall in bang-ish things like that, just because they're too short to stay in a braid.
It was gonna have clothes, but once I did the lineart, I realized clothes (especially on the legs) would look like crap. So, since its furry, it's no big deal one way or the other.
I can't decide if I like how I colored the hair or not, and the highlights on the black fur (especially on the chest) really bother me, but I couldn't get them any better, and it looked funky if the hair had highlights but the rest did not.
And the tail is really floofy. The End.
Done in MSPaint, as usual, and turned transparent in Photoshop 1.0.

I think the shading's pretty damned good! The whole pic's awesome (love the hair/pose/eyes). ^^
The only thing might be that the muzzle's a little flat looking, but other than that, love it. ^^

Yeah, I had some issues with that muzzle, I think the shading and highlights on it look a tad weird, but again, I didn't want to go through the trouble of re-doing it

It is odd. They are harder to look at, but they do have better colors. xD Mines pretty old, so there's a good chance yours is newer than mine.

Well, because transparency only works if the file is a gif or png file, and since its sort of pixel art (very solid lines and all), and gif format is better for pixels, that's what I saved it as =3.

Shading on Paint is pretty easy though.
As long as it's cell-shading and you're not trying to get a photoshop-shade effect that is o.o.
