A very nice piece of work- I really like the way you are posing your characters; it looks so natural and manages to suggest something of the personality of the character you are portraying. Anatomy and proportion continue to improve and your use of these muted colours also. Well done!

Well I got in, the course I will be doing is a full-time course in Graphic Design, and we start in October. I heard the workload is rather big so I'm not sure how much drawing I'll be able to do in my own time, but hopefully I'll manage!

I'm really interested in the kind of course of study you will be pursuing. Please keep me posted!

Superb! I do love the setting, despite mentions of a revolt, it seems so peaceful (I was going to visit Winchester this year but didn't!). I sort of really like Daniel's face lol, he looks quite down-to-earth, and Magdelane's expression is also wonderful mischievous. You used such a great set of natural colours too for their outfits

Yes indeed, Jane Austen's house is there, that was one of the reasons we were going to go, but then we considered the price of travel and the time, and then the price of getting in to just wander around a house...and we decided it wasn't a cost we'd be willing to pay at the time.

She's buried in the north nave of the Cathedral. The house where she died is only five minutes walk away. It stands next to Winchester College, one of the oldest schools in England, founded by Bishop William of Wykeham - who was alive and highly active when this picture was "taken".

Ah-ha! One of the very first things I said when I saw the preliminary sketch was that I loved Magdalene's pose and expression, and please don't change it. Obviously I'm not the only one to see it! It suits her personality very well, and her relationship with Matthew - they are definitely the rogues of the group, while the other two are rather more moral and compassionate. The varied personalities of the different characters really do shine through.
Superb, isn't it? I commissioned akitku because I liked her medieval imagery in "The Change" so much, but most of the scenes there tend to be smaller and more intimate. Even after I'd seen the final sketch, I wasn't expecting something quite this... spectacular, but it was a delightful surprise when I saw the full affect with those amazing colors.

Yes, she is really good at expressions and intimate scenes! I want to commission her a scene with a similar feel as well.

I always love how your characters look. Too often medieval era fantasy clothing/characters look like they comes right out of an anime or gentlemen's magazine. I MUCH prefer this!
Anywho, nice work.

Thanks so much! I know what you mean, very often medieval fantasy has very little to do with the 'medieval' part. I like to put research into my costumes, though in this case the commissioner had tons of research done himself!
