Just wanted to share some news:

Her name is Ra'i. We've adopted a little puppy from the local shepherds.
She is 2 months old. She was born into a large pack of shepherd dogs who guard the goats in the hills. She lived her first two months in a goat penn and she will be the first dog in generations in her family to actually...live in a house!

She is rather bright and in three days she learned her name, to 'come' and to 'sit' (in Polish).

This is her right on the first evening with us. Still a bit shy.

Here she is getting her first bath (she was covered with goat dung on one side.)

In front of the house, fresh and clean and wearing a new collar.

Here she is on a walk. She actually accepted collar and lead (piece of string) quite well.

Sleeping with Thessa. Thessa is not too thrilled about her for now. But I hope she will grow to like her.

And here is a picture of her parents guarding the goats! (mom on the right, the (presumed) dad on the left).
