I bet Kagome does feel like that sometimes. -nods- She's the reincarnation of another woman! One that was important to so many other people! Anyone would feel like that if they knew they were reincarnated after someone like that...

I feel so bad for Kagome.....and for Inuyasha, because they are from different times...it's very hard for Kagome and Inuyasha to completely fall in love with each other...and after they collect all the shards....something sad will probably happen between the two.

I literally sat her just staring at this picture for about 15 minutes or more, every second the crease in my brow deepening and my eyes welling up. Hmm....Yes, I can see and feel the meaning very well. Kagome is always compared to Kikyou, constantly within her shadow, everyone expects her to be just like Kikyou. But Kagome will never be up to Kikyou's standards so she is constently faced with trying to get others to except who she is.
I do hope your feeling better. *huggles.* I hate knowing someone I admire is in pain and I can do nothing to help...
