Powers:
-Elastic: Vastrato’s body is a strangely elastic material. Bone, skin and all. While its hard and strong, Vastrato could tie himself into a knot or even stretch around and chew on his own ass if he so desired. This ability also allows Vastrato to swallow unusually big prey too.
-Thick and Hard skin: Vastrato’s skin has grown along with him. It is now thicker and harder, a great defense against almost everything. It is hard enough to stop most projectiles
-Vacuum: Using his Elastic powers, Vastrato can turn himself into a sucking Vacuum of death for smaller foes. By expanding his stomach area, he can turn himself into a balloon and suck up anyone unfortunate to get caught in the pull. This helps feeding.
-Hurricane: After sucking in a lot of air, it can be released into powerful gale of wind that has been known to leave cities in shambles of torn up buildings. The force of the wind has been recorded at anything known on earth.

Weaknesses:
-Heavy: Vastrato grew in size and weight. While attacks are very potent and hard, he is still slow and still very easy to dodge if one doesn’t panic. He can also sink if he isn’t swimming. This also binds him to the water more as well as he has a hard time even standing on land.
Clumsy: Being so big and heavy, Vastrato can turn himself into a stumbling klutz on land.

Personality: The change into a larger adult hasn’t changed Vastrato much. He is still the grumpy, lazy and bad attitude reptile. He tends to spend most of his time resting in shallow waters… and by shallow waters, enough water to cover a tanker ship and then some.
His morality seems to have been affected. He has been known to be more active in stopping destruction in his reach and beating back down other monsters and entities that threaten the earths health. With size like that, be present on the scene can make a lot of others to back away simple as that.
All he tends to do now is spend a few days resting and a few days active to defend his home.

Epoch: Present Day Epoch

History: After Vastrato was discovered, he was fallowed around a while. Each time he made landfall, Thor some how managed to catch up and beat him back down into the sea. After a few months, Vastrato just disappeared into the deep sea and never returned for a long time. Some think his wounds killed him, others think he just returned to the Earth Hallows where it was safer from the confrontations with Thor.
Everyone though no one could see him again. Many were just fine with that, especially the companies that were suffering from the damages to there environmental ravages(deforestation, oil spills and etc). Then, in the far north, a oil drilling platform was complete dragged down into the deep ocean with no trace. Attempts to find it at the sea bottom were made… However the platform was completely gone. As if some one hand picked it up and carried it off.
The same event kept playing all around the Atlantic Ocean. The public was demanding action. Several months of these strange attacks continued. It was no mistake that the attacks from of a Kaiju and a very pissed off one at that.
A trap was set, at one of the last Oil Drilling platforms closest to the last attack. Many weapons were set on the land nearby as well as several U-Boats in the sea nearby. Sonar did the rest. Once in range, the subs attacked. That did nothing. Nothing but rile a nest of hornets!
The subs never stood a chance. Massive claws had ripped them right in half. An entire fleet of Ohio Class Submarines, shredded in seconds. After dealing with that nuicense, everyone saw the colossal monster responsible for the attacks.
Vastrato. And he grew, A LOT. He was big as is. Now he was a true monster! As soon as he was above the water, the forces on land began to fire. Each shell and bullet that hit seemed to be simply ignored as the huge claws grasped the Oil Platform and pulled it straight off iron supports. Then slowly was dragged down and away from it anchored spot and into the deep sea. Soldiers were dumbfounded and terrified, as was the world itself at the gargantuan beast that now walked the earth.
When Thor learned the news, he began stalking Vastrato and one day hopes to get him on land and beat him back again. A fight hasn’t broken out yet, but everyone knows it will come.

Imporant Dates:
-March 21st - April 3rd, 20X0: Vastrato is discovered in the Atlantic Ocean, and is shortly after fought by his old nemesis, Thor. After a lenght battle, Vastrato retreats to the ocean, but would appear ever so often and do damages. Often he was followed by Thor...
-July 1-8, 20X0: Vastrato completes his growth spurt, becoming a truly massive kaiju.
-August 23 - September 14, 20X0: The Giganuuk incident. Giganuuk rises from his deep slumber and duels Vastrato in the Artic Circle. Vastrato returns to the ocean soon after, vanishing again...
-May 24, 20X1: The Tarasque is dispatched to stop Vastrato, in the end the two end up working together with Gabriel to stop an excursion from the Enigma Zone.

And this is bigger badder mother fucker Vastrato. FEAR THE BIG BAD ASS!
Design wise, was a bit of a hassle since the whole back shell like structure has been used before. But I think the rest of the design completes it.

Pose look familar? Ya I know right, its similar to the Nychus pose. I kinda like it. Claws too... I guess Nychus and Vastrato are closer related then originally though.

Not much to say on this one. Just enjoy.

EDIT: Well.. after fairly unhappy two or so days, I got my shit back together and put the emotions into something worth it........ annnnnd damn, who know depression could end up to that(points up) Holy hell, did I bunk up a rank on the drawing scale? seriously...
Took a few things from Pyatts rendition when he did some fan art ages back. tusks, a few rocky bumps... hm...
