Oh yeah, big time. They're releasing a screen accurate Shockwave next year, so definitely will be buying a couple for my Iron Warriors and Death Guard armies.
Though I do want Hasbro to release a Studio Series of "Mad Max" Megatron from Dark of the Moon. Loved that rusty design.

True. But if one looks past the obvious issues, they're relatively decent movies to watch. (And to be honest, I've enjoyed the Transformers films more than all the Marvel movies released in the last 10 years combined.)

TL;DR, as a lifelong fan of Transformers (G1, Beast Wars, RID, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Animated, etc.) I'd say that the Michael Bay films are some of the lowest points in the series. Behind even Beast Machines and a bunch of the schlokly Japanese continuations (which were weird even for anime), and just in general despise Michael Bay himself, as he has proven that he lacks any care or sense of respect for anything except a paycheck. Uwe Boll would be proud of him.
My problem with the Michael Bay films (apart from the first one), is that they just kinda fail at making most of the characters even remotely likable. Revenge of the Fallen, fails to grasp even a slim amount of the terror that The Fallen has in his other appearances, Skids and Mudflap are annoying and really offensive, even as a fan, since Skids was a master Scientist and Theoretician in his previous incarnations, they cheaped out and reused several character designs, and pretty much the entire character of Sam Witwhicky was pointless, it relied on dumb humor and sexy scenes. TLDR, it was a disaster, feeling like MB just grabbed things out of a hat and threw it in without bothering to look at all at what he was swinging around. (Also the mind bendingly stupid "hatchlings" mention? That's not how Cybertronians are, or ever have been, born.)
The third movie just lifted the entire plot from the G1 "Megatron's Master Plan" arc, and brought forth the first appearance of the character Sentinel Prime, whose only mention in the series has ever been that he was the one who formed the Autobots, and sacrificed himself in a hopeless duel against Megatron, only to make him a pointless "twist" villain that most people saw coming.
After that I stopped watching, because when asked if he would be more respectful of the series and it's history/themes/meaning, he responded "You'll go and see them anyways..."
After hearing that, I have refused to pay money for anything to do with his version, due to the utter contempt with which he views the fans.
I feel really strongly about this because, this was my childhood, heck, I even still buy the figures nowadays, and I hate to see stuff I love be actively harmed by these terrible versions put forward. As much as I like the first Bayformers movie, I can't watch it without remembering how much of a jerk MD is.

You make a very apt observation.
Though, speaking of likeable characters, Starscream in Transformers Prime probably stole the spotlight in that show! Most of his animated versions are annoying as hell and he's always depicted as a scheming idiot. But in Transformers Prime ... he a manipulative scheming prick who was likeable to the point that you almost want his plans to succeed. XD
