From the new James Cameron Movie - Avatar -I really can't wait to see this one and wanted to do a quick painting of one of the main characters, Neytiri.

I did use Photoshop for this. No custom brushes though, just standard ones and a few different smudge brushes but thats its. I wanted to stick with the standard ones as a challenge. Trying not to rely on the tool but more on the paint and my technique. I only spent about 2 hours working on it also, try not to get too attached to a work that you end up butchering it, hahaha!

Default brushes? I'm inspired! hehe when I have the time I am going to have a go at trying to do some. Skills are still rookie compared to yours but I'll get there! hehe. Keep up the fantastic work

thank you! I liked the softness too. I just went to see the premiere of the movie last night and Oh MY GOD! It was gorgeous! I saw it in IMAX 3D. The only way to experience it to the max. I have to do a few more AVATAR paintings now. By far my favorite movie in YEARS!
