What remains is the purple goopy flame that deconstructs what it touches. The magic looks like as if tar were to be set aflame... it's not meant to be pretty magic.

Legosi was born into a large family of witches, his family has two main houses; Doreniel and A'Marie. The house of Doreniel has an affinity to reconstruct organic materials, meanwhile the branch of A'Marie has an alignment with the decomposition organic materials. Legosi's immediate family consists his two mothers, an older sister and a younger brother.

Not all family members are capable of using magic, those who are capable of using reconstruction and decomposition magic are relocated into one of the main houses. His family doesn't work like a traditional house where immediate family members live in the main house. They function on whether or not one has the ability to use magic. At the age of 8, Legosi attended the family ritual with his older sister and out of the two, it was only him that showed the potential to perform magic. With positive results after the test, the main A'Marie house required him to relocate to the main house. A tinge of loneliness grew inside of young Legosi's heart as he had to part from his parents. He knew that they could visit anytime, but the simple comfort of having his mothers or his siblings next to him was no longer there. He now had to make a new home with his cousins and distant relatives that he had never met before.

Two years later at the age of 10, Legosi loses his left arm due to an accident with his magic. His purple flames melted onto his arm, causing his arm to rot. The boy was quickly sent to emergency room for surgical procedures. Hours later after the surgery had finished, he wakes up in a white room. As he turned his head, both of his mothers were sound asleep by his side. He wanted to reach out to them after not seeing them since last weekend, but there was nothing in sight... just a nub. A soreness buzzed through his shoulder as he attempted to lift his arm, his pained cry startled his parents awake. With their own hands, the two reached out to him– the comfort of his mothers and the lost of his arm caused tears to run down his cheeks. His left arm was no longer there... There was no magic known to them where one could bring back a full functioning arm, even the family house of Doreniel find reconstructing humans nearly impossible. After his recovery, Legosi received a simple prosthetic arm as he went through rehab.

On his usual visit to the forest near the main house, he decided to explore deeper into the forest, an adventurer must always tale risks, no? The further he traveled into the forest, the more congested the trees became. Despite his heart as an adventurer, he was still just a kid in real life and he decided to turn back, but he tripped over and tree root and fell into a ring of mushrooms... a fairy ring! Suddenly a soft glow of light emitted from the mushrooms and before he knew it, he's in another forest. This forest was not a forest that he knows of. There was a voice that he was unfamiliar with that called out to him. Another young boy appeared before him, but with horns and a tail! The horned boy guided Legosi to his home on a cliff where the sea breeze tickled his nose. There, he met Ettiene's mother, a large yet gentle woman who guided the sailors of Alterna to safety.

Unsure how to get back home by himself, Ettiene's mother decided to take care of Legosi until there was a way to guide him back home. It didn't take a long for the household of La'Chance to welcome Legosi as one of their own despite his human origins. He was treated no different than a son in Ettienne's mothers eyes and his heart ached as he had not felt the comfort of a home in a long time... Over time, one could see the traces of Legosi in their home. Clothes, books, even an extra dish just for Legosi to use for meals. Time continued to pass and the two young boys grew close; one could say that they had an undying bond between one another. A tradition that deepened their bonds was a sweet lullaby that was sung every night before bed, a soft melody resounded in his heart as he drifted off to bed to dream about forever.

Ettienne's mother had found a city where there was a portal to take Legosi back to the human realm, however a fierce storm riled the waves of the sea and the stubborn winds knocked over whatever it brushed. Ettienne's mother stood face to face with the storm, but the winds were too violent to tame. The sea began to rise higher, any misstep and one could be blown or washed away. However, a brave-gentle heart couldn't bear to keep Legosi apart from his own family for any longer and rushed out into the open deciding that he would open a portal of his own. His robust body seemed so frail before Legosi's eyes as Ettie was swept up with the wind and off the edge of the cliff. At the bottom of the cliff, the young Ettie laid lifeless.

Legosi rushed to the bottom of the cliff, he could care less for what the dangers of the storm could bring onto him, he just needed to be by Ettienne's side. He arrived before Ettienne's mother and upon seeing the lifeless body of Ettienne, the young boy choked out uncontrollable sobs as he held his still body in his arms. Nothing would be able to console him now, for his sorrow raged on like the storm that took away his companion. He couldn't face that reality and pretended that his companion had simply fallen asleep, brushing his white locks back, Legosi sang their sweet lullaby– an ode for no one other than Ettie. As Legosi sang, the raging storm slowly calmed down, as if it were listening to the gentle plea. A sweet hush of an incantation with words of a lullaby, a part of Legosi bloomed within Ettienne. A heart beat. A chance and a wish. Under the formation of a pact, Legosi had offered half of his life to Ettienne in order to revive him from his cold slumber. Now, with their undying bond, the two young boys now share one last life together. A white tuft appeared in Legosi's hair as the pact was seals. This was a reminder of their pact.

After the event that had happened, Legosi grew protective of Ettienne and made sure to keep the boy in check throughout his recovery. It wasn't long before the two realized the weight of their pact as they sensed something different within them. Understanding the weight of the possible consequences, Ettienne's mother introduced the two of them to the idea of attending Saint Spell. A place where they can learn to improve their magic and gain the strength to protect their fragile pact.
