A young lady with blonde hair and a long singular ponytail wore a white dress reaching her knees. Two golden bracelets on each wrist, she wore a set of star earrings and a grey belt with a star buckle to accentuate her figure sat with a dark purple crystal ball on a cushion on a table with two candles lit with a blue flame. An air of mysticism hung around her as she awaited a certain someone.

Her name was Ivannah and had just opened up a small store in the Alola region. Coming from a very special school for gifted people the pony tailed blonde claimed that she was a fortune teller to the populace. She asked for a small payment from people aiming to satisfy their worries about future events. She scoffed at those asking for winning lottery numbers as she saw her skills beyond such simple requests. Business being a bit slow the curtains to her small shop opened up.

“Greetings traveller. I am the Reader of stars, Daughter of the moon and Child of the cosmos! I am Ivannah.”

“Uhm hello…Ivannah…I'm Lillie.”

Lillie was pretty intrigued by the sign outside and entered the shop. Smelling the scented candles Ivannah waited for her fellow blonde to acclimatize herself as the setting can be overwhelming for the easily scared.

“What can I help you with miss Lillie?” She tried to make Lillie feel welcome. Her customer was surprised to hear this.

“Don't you know why I am here? I thought you might have predicted me to be here and what for?”

“A common misconception. I'm a fortune teller, not a psychic. I look into the future and don't dwell in the past. I don't read minds and invade privacy like others of my profession.”

“Uhm…ok…” Lillie believed it. Not intruding anymore than necessary she explained why she was here.

Ever since finding her father Mohn and the reunion of her family, the rebuilding of the family bonds went exceptionally well. Lillie achieved everything she set out to do. She and her mother Lusamine grew closer, her brother stayed more at home and she found her father and have a healthy family again. Which led Lillie to ask herself what was next for her. She accomplished all her goals and now was standing still. Her friends all continued to chase their goals and she was being left behind. She needed a new target feeling this wasn't the end for her. There was so much to do yet she did not know where to begin.

Ivannah nodded as she listened with a smile.

“I see. You want to know what happens next? The road you set out on has led you to a crossroads with nowhere to go and you came here for help to discover the path the stars chose for you.”

Lillie nodded as it was exactly why she came here. A fortune teller if true can spoil a little on what she wanted to do.

“Can you please help me?” Ivannah just nodded as she cracked her fingers.

“A standard and easy task for one of my skills. I must focus for a few minutes, silence please as I draw upon the ancient and mysterious powers of clairvoyance."

Ivannah closed her eyes as crystal ball began to glow. A purple hue came from it as Lillie was kind of scared at the mysticism of it. The fortune teller waved her hands stroking the ball along drawing circles and lines on the glass with fingers as she opened her eyes and spoke deep.

“Crystal ball, hear my call. This young lady seems fairest of them all. Show this young woman your foresight, show me if her future is shining bright!”

The glass ball glowed brighter scaring Lillie some more. Ivannah saw images from her clients future. Her blue eyes widening now she looked intently wiping away the fog that covered the visions in he sphere. Ivannah bended over it as she still did her magic before proclaiming Lillie's future.

“My prediction for you is…figure skater…”

“Are you sure?”

Lillie had her doubts. She never figured herself never to be one. Figure skating was quite an intensive activity while she rather would read a book and study on Pokémon biology. Lillie started to question more as Ivannah said she saw images of Lillie doing jumps and pirouettes.

“To me it is clear…why don't you look with me?”

Ivannah invited her to come closer. Lillie shuffled forward carefully as she slowly came closer to the crystal ball. Her green eyes peeking into the glass all she saw is something like a fog. Lillie locked eyes with Ivannah quickly and said she didn’t spot anything.

“Are you sure? Look deeper…deeper…”

The fortune teller suggested with a deep voice. Lillie tried harder as she now really had a good luck into the sphere. Slowing down her eyes glossed over as she began to see someone with blonde hair styled like her own. The surface she was on a bright white and blue she only saw her image from above.

“Adjust your angle. Look right into the ball.”

Ivannah told her as Lillie shifted just a little changing the perspective of the vision, it now being more clear and couldn't believe what she was seeing.

“Woah…that's me…? I look so graceful.”

Dressed in a white skirt with hints of blue like her own outfit Lillie saw herself standing on ice now. Light blue stockings covered her legs as she stood on skates and white gloves with wrist straps completing her look on the seemingly double skirted figure skater outfit.

“That can't be me, can it?”

The image began to dart around on the ice. With a speed she did not know she was capable of the image Lillie sped along. The one watching eyes glazed over and had purple in them now. The image in the crystal ball performed a spiral jump which took Lillie's breath away as her image landed perfectly on one feet gliding on the slippery surface.

“So…cool…”

Lillie was entranced at how simple she made it look. The image then went on one leg holding the other straight behind her back as the real one was stunned her agility. No, her own agility as she never thought to have been capable of such feats.

“Is this…really…my future…? Am I…?”

Continuing her watch Ivannah whispered gently.

“Yes. This is your future. See how you are so graceful, beautiful, happy? Such a perfect image from my crystal ball. Surely it can't be wrong if you looked into it yourself? This is what the great Ivannah sees for you…a world class figure skater. And now that you have seen these images you will dream about them. In your quiet moments you will think about them. You will now from now on pursue this goal and become a figure skater. Such grace, such beauty, such precision. Be that, be her, be your true you. ~”

The mysterious voice was right. Lillie looked never better than this. She was starting to fill up with a brand new desire she never had before. It was her dream, in her quiet moments she'd imagine a routine. Lillie would buy some skates and the same dress so she could start working to the crystal balls image. Lillie would become her future self of that she was certain.

The crystal ball stopped showing Lillie what she would become. The blonde would've loved to see the ending of her act but left open for interpretation she was going to come up with a way to end that performance with a deserved ending. Breaking the sight of the crystal ball Lillie gave Ivannah a large smile.

“Thank you so much Ivannah! I learned a lot today and I know what I want to be now! Thank you so much for your help!”

The fortune teller just nodded andlet the praise wash over her.

“It is my pleasure. I would wish you the best of luck in your future but since I've already seen it I'm sure you'll be fine.”

“Farewell Ivannah. I won't ever forget this meeting!”

Lillie left the small store with a smile and a new goal in mind away from the Aether Foundation. It would be quite a long road to get the fitness and body needed for figure skating but Lillie was never more determined to achieve something outside of her studies. She planned a trip to a colder region where she will actually learn how to skate and from there work on the more complicated moves her vision showed.

A few weeks after Ivannah's predictions to Lillie the fortune teller walked among the halls of a large mansion nearing it's rebuild completion. Dressed now in a purple skirt with high black collar she had two large round wristbands and white elbow pads white and white socks over her calves. Alongside her walked one of her masters in a cyan uniform holding a newspaper from Alola with a quite unusual headline.

“Aether Foundation heir moves to Sinnoh's Snowpoint City to pursue figure skater career. Family confused about sudden interest.”

The one carrying the newspaper put it down and then looked at the one next to her with a suspicious look.

“You wouldn't have anything to do with this Ivannah?”

“Oh no Cleo. Just me and my crystal ball being right again.~” Ivannah being Cleo's personal student played it coy. The Founder just sighed.

“You mean the crystal ball I gave you? How many times do I have to tell you? Aura has nothing to do with clairvoyance.”

The Aura Society knew this but Ivannah maintained she truly can see into the future after her training much to her teachers skepticism. Foresight isn't an Aura power no matter how much the blonde wants it and the Founders kept reminding her of it.

Ivannah was not a real fortune teller. She was taught to use her Aura power in quite a specific way. She could inject her spirit into a crystal ball and create images like a camera records images and then display them. The viewer will then watch the crystal ball and slowly believe whatever Ivannah shows and tell and will go out of their way to make the images come true even going so far as to go against their own personality.

“Are you sure? I have been seeing things. Perhaps I do have some hidden psychic powers.”

“Well…it will be useful if you have them after all. But if I find out you’re lying.”

Cleo and her pupil went to check Ivannah's crystal ball to see if her predictions were actually true. Even if the blonde was wrong she was still a valuable member of the Aura Society.
