Description Here it is! (And im really sorry for the wait!)
Made Shepard and Garrus as Christine and the Phantom for

I wanted to make it in colour but i really liked the way the inked version turned out so yeah i'll just go ahead and post it
But i have plans on colouring the piece later, im not so good at colouring unless it's acrylic colour though :/

I would have loved to give Shepard some scars couse i think that fit her image somewhat, renegade or not.
But it didn't fit well in this picture, wanted her to look really dollface pretty as Christine
I had some ideas of making her hair long and curly to but i think that was going to far, it has to look as Shepard even though it's Phantom of the Opera theme
I mean Garrus still looks the same, he just wears a mask haha ^^

Well i hope you like it so far!

Made with ink and used these pictures as references

Aaaaaaaaaaaand Garrus n' Shep Belongs to BioWare as always!

Which old one? The oldest is from the 1920s with Lon Chaney Sr I believe. It's a wonderful play/book/movie. ^_^ My favorite, actually!

yeah i think that's the one! I just remember it looked very old and i think the phantoms face got destroyed by acid or something :S
As i said, sooooo long ago since i saw it and my memory is on vacation -_-'
I once read the book by Frederick Forsyth when i were 11, and my english back then were not that great so have not much memory of it either :/ *fail*
But- the music is great (and i actually remember that, odd huh? XD and it has nooothing to do with that i have listened to it sometimes during the past years *whistle whistle*)

Actually his face was natually deformed. However there is ONE version where they said his face was destroyed by acid. But normally he was just born that way. I highly recommend the books...especially Phantom by Susan Kay.

Theres even a sequel to the PotO play called Love Never Dies

Phantom might be a wee bit hard to find. It was out of print for several years but I think it got put back on the line cause of the demand for it.

Of course I do! And it kind of fits with the mask and everything with Garrus after he took the missile to the face Oh, and the title made me laugh! It is very clever...

Aku-Soku-San In reply to DionneJinn [2012-04-17 12:39:16 +0000 UTC]

Hahaaaaa that's exactly what i thought when i drew it!
The mask covered the scarred parts of his face a little toooo well! Oo
You think? XD haha well it's a morph so i thought the name would be that to, glad it worked!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DionneJinn In reply to Aku-Soku-San [2012-04-17 12:45:10 +0000 UTC]

Yep. The name works very well, I think. I'm kind of jealous of it, actually...

In the movie (and in the original novel) the mask is supposed to cover the damage on Phantom's face, so it covering all of Garrus' wounds is all right. We still know it's Garrus, and that is what matters.

Haha awww

Yeah i know, i saw the old movie of it maaany years ago and i remember he had his face destroyed by acid or something, don't remember very well -_-
But i know his mask covered the damage, that was the funny part when i drew the mask on Garrus
Do we? Maybe They're the same being! Archangel of the opera/Phantom of omega Oo Oh Daaaaamn! Hahaha XD

Depends on the version, how his face got to that stage. In the musical his face has been deformed from birth, if I remember correctly.

DionneJinn In reply to Aku-Soku-San [2012-04-17 16:45:47 +0000 UTC]

They made a pretty good film of it some years back. I haven't seen it on stage, unfortunately, but would like to. I saw another musical version of it, but compared to Andrew Lloyd Webber's version, it was crap (though I liked Christine telling both Raoul AND Phantom to go to hell)... The story is rather old, so there is a lot of different adaptations around.

I'll have to look around for the movie

This is the main theme: [link]

It's a different version from the one in the movie, but gives you the idea of what the music is like.

Have listened to the soundtrack before actually
Im not so much for opera in normal cases but many of the songs in phantom
are really great My favorite is wishing you were somehow here again, Really like nightwish's cover of the main theme also though

DionneJinn In reply to Aku-Soku-San [2012-04-17 19:51:45 +0000 UTC]

Yeah. There are lot of good songs in that. My friend who hates musicals on principle loves the Phantom of the Opera, after I forced her to watch the movie with me. And I like Nighwish's cover, too. I actually listen Nightwish atm.

That's great! I love Chess (the musical ) to be honest,
don't watch/listen so much to musicals but chess, don't think there's a track i don't like in it
Like the swedish version of it very much, Love Helen SjΓΆholm's voice!
Nice nice With Tarja or the new girl i don't know the name of? Hanna was it or something :S
To my defense i haven't listen much to Nightwish since Tarja got kicked :/ Just this one song, amaranth

I prefer Tarja Turunen, too. And I think the new singer is called Anette, or something like that, maybe? Not sure, though. "Amaranth" is all right, but from the old ones my favourites are "Nemo" and "Over the Hills and Far Away"...

oooooh god yes over the hills and far away is pure love! (the original kicks ass to!)
Nemos intro is quite the kicker

I love the Dead boy's poem, It's so sad but i love the song so much!
Really need to dig up those albums

I have all of them, except the newest one. I think it's called "Equilibrium" or something like that and it came out this year... Or did I confuse it with something from Sonata Arctica? Gosh...

I went to Nightwish's concert once. Not the best experience of my life, I'm afraid... Nightwish was good, but the crowd caused me to panic, which kind of ruined the whole thing for me...

Aku-Soku-San In reply to DionneJinn [2012-04-17 22:36:58 +0000 UTC]

mwaaaaaaaa SONATA ARCTICA~<3
That's how pure love for music can ever become in my world.
(at least their older albums, Unia and Days of grays is nowhere near as epic!)

Sorry to hear that :/ It's hard when things become like that,
especially when it's something like a concert.
But tbh i think people on concert's often are kinda annyoing,
pushing forward and all that shit.
I Once Stomped with my 14 cm bootz on a guys foot couse he kept pushing me so hard that i nearly fell.
Stupid ass i hope it hurt like hell Oo *insert evil laugh*

Never seen Nightwish live but have seen sonata once (and it was very awesome)

I would love to see Sonata. I've heard they are great in concerts. I can't say if Nightwish was good, I guess they were, but my memories are of that horrible crowd pushing me around and stepping on my fingers when I fell. After that I decided that I only go to conserts where you can reserve a proper seat and people stay put!

oh, that really sounds unpleasant :/
It's a shame that some ppl have to behave like animals just couse they think something is great, i get really happy when i see concerts with bands i really like live and such but i don't start a moshpit just to get so close to the band as possible :S I mean isn't the thrill of seeing them live enough?

They are really great live I would like to see Beauty and the Beast live, with Tarja and Tony Kakko singing it! Quite impossible these days haha
so thank you almighty youtube!

Might be some sort of "mob hysteria" which takes over those people. You know that they say that mob is only as intelligent as it's most stupid member (though sometimes I think it is even less intelligent, but that is just me).

Youtube can provide quite a lot of material, but even as good as it is as a substitude, it can never beat being in a real concert...

Aku-Soku-San In reply to DionneJinn [2012-04-18 19:29:49 +0000 UTC]

Maybe, but isn't that due to people just being really immature and whack in the first place?
Crazy ass fans are so scary :S ( i elbow them in the ribs if i can Muhahahaha)

I agree, it's better than nothing but nowhere near the live experiences Well i guess with a selected few, youtube might be better. Some bands are just horrible live :S
