The picture above was inspired by a poem. This poem, was in a book entitled, The Animals. It was a book of poems for kids by Michido Mado. (japanese poet) (and if you're wondering what I was doing looking at childrens books, I work in a library and I'm one of the people who help put the books in order in the children's section) I looked through this lovely book, and all the poems in it I thought were beautimus. But the last one, with the same titles as the book, really got to me. I wanted to think of a picture, that would go with this poem, so that I may have an excuse to share this poem with atleast some of the rest of the world. Though it may be short, the thought of it will longer on. (atleast it has for me)

How and since when
Has it been like this?
When we begin to see.
They've turned their backs to us.
Facing away from where we are.

They are now so far away,
As apart from us as is the rainbow.
