I was looking back at some of my first couple of renders from my early render days. This is a newer version of my third or fourth render using DAZ Studio in its first Beta version. See the original here [link]

I would like to see the art layout from the shots sent to see what you selected to include in the poster. Any thoughts about a replacement color logo? We can hold out on adding text and tag lines until the art is more defined. I need to e-mail you a copy of the contract to review then we ned to discuss if you want it notarized when signed.

Does the logo show up in the movie, I can make a new logo with a style that works with the poster.

I am partial to the concept of the original logo (Wooden sign at the entrance of a Nudist camp) except for the colors around the words Zombie Massacre but am open to seeing your interpretation, specially if it works better with the poster you are designing. Keep any tag lines, logos or credits separate from the art for now. PS, the tag line for the movie is "A Smorgasbord of NAKED Terror!"

I understand, maybe just pick a few images and keep it simple or use the setting of a nudist camp background as an inspiration, trees, picnic tables, beach balls. Or just pick one or two dramatic image.

I was very impressed. I am going to print out a cheap B&W copy poster sized to see how the logo turns out. I would like to feature an image of one of the other "good guy" characters someplace. I will send new photos in a few days.

The size I sent is not print size so it may be pixelized. What to you think about the Blueish boarder and logo?

I prefer the red border and colors of the original logo. It matches the color scheme of other promo posters created. I would like to have a new logo created that is basically the same but with a few minor changes, like larger resolution, remove the glow around the words ZOMBIE MASSACRE. What do you think? I think the last submitted poster is perfect. Just about the only image I would like to see added would be the flying saucer in the far upper right corner done in the same style as the zombie images. Did I send you a flying saucer pic?

I tried the flying Saucer and it didn't look right. But I will try it again. Do you have someone to do the logo again? Its not my forte'

I can get you other images of the flying saucer. I would be interested in seeing a test. I will ask around for help with the logo, just redo the page minus the title logo in a higher resolution if we can work in a small flying saucer.

Yes, the text of the title. If I blow up the art to poster size, I need as high a resolution as i can get and if the text is too small pixel wise, I will have to find someone to replicate it larger but I need the art you created with that space clear to put the new title text. Did you get the flying saucer pics?

If you can replicate the design of the title text NUDIST CAMP is on a wooden plank sign and the dripping ZOMBIE MASSACRE is below. I do not like the faded haze around the ZOMBIE MASSACRE, I would prefer clean line art. If you can recreate it in as large a resolution as possible for your art, I also need a copy separate that I can use in advertising elsewhere to replace the version I have and so all text titles match up to yours.

I've had every version of DS, even paid for DS Advanced and have yet to use any of them. I just downloaded the latest ('cause it's free so why not

Humm appearently I have mislead people, this was done in Carrara. I used DS for about a year and a half until DAZ got Carrara, and have been using it ever since. I am looking back at those old renders and trying to redo them now that I have some better skills. Best of luck my friend.

We're reading your comments under the picture. I always knew you used Carrara but your comments say this is your 3rd or 4th render using DS.
I will probably always only use Poser. I have Carrara too, but it's nearly impossible to switch. (I have Vue as well but never use it.) Sad, I know.

Ya I started with DS cuz I couldnt afford Poser, once I knew I was going to do this alot Carrara came out so I got that and Poser. I had the same problem cept opposite where Poser is harder for me know.
