PC-E-Tan, Or PC-Engine-tan, was a 4th generation console-tan produced by NEC. Though it competed with the SNES-tan and Genesis-tan in the larger market as TG-16-Tan(Or TurboGrafX16-tan), its primary success was much closer to its home dome. Without the more popular characters and established foothold of its rivals, it was never able to surpass either, though a few niche scenarios make it highly desired by collectors. She is fiercely loyal and while she doesn't get along well with many other console-tans, she seems more likely than your average Console-tan to take a more romantic interest in her owner. While the console-tan never really stood much of a chance in the foreign market, even after a series of upgrades, many console-tan historians will tell you that the nail in the coffin was a last-ditch attempt to rebrand her as an ultra-cool, baseball-cap-sporting superheroine that fought off droneline parodies of competitor console-tans, with the implication that they were evil aliens from outer space that had stolen her rightful position as queen console-tan. Despite all of this, those who are lucky enough to own one will swear to the quality of her scenarios.
