hmm, I'm actually curious how that's jet packs work. I mean it needs to create a lot of propulsion downwards to create lift, but putting aside the method of propulsion, the energy is coming from the user and it would take a lot of energy to essentially 'infinite jump'. Even birds use the wind more to fly than just flapping their wings constantly.
I'd have to put money on that this legion class has to have like hollow bones and the jets at more like jump packs/gliders. That actually kind of makes them sound scarier considering the weapon. Silent, accurate death from above from people with probably the most endurance and energy of any other legionnaire.

No offense, my undead friend, but you're taking this too seriously. We're talking about a race of technologically advanced leaf ladies who just happen to be able to fly on their own, are apparently markswomen, can infect anyone they choose and *ahem* "convert" them to their race, can pilot all types of neo-futuristic machines, all while having a rack the size of their head.
I won't deny creativity, or the fact that this concept can be pretty damn deadly, but sometimes you just have to make a joke out of it.

Not sure if this has been explained as I just noticed it, but what are the yellow things the Legion have on their shoulders and why do they have them?

They're globules or "seed pods" and they help with photosynthesis, maybe?

Wait, Legion do photosynthesis? Felt like I've seen them eat at some point. Did I just imagine that or are they able to eat the animal way but it's not nessisary?

Legion get their energy from rooting their legs into the soil and taking in sunlight, so yeah, photosynthesis.
They can eat to get energy too, which kinda "refreshes" their nanites, but it's by no means healthy for them. That being said, eating in conjunction with photosynthesis yields some... interesting results.
Legion can't get fat or drunk, since every bit of every piece of food they eat is instantly converted to nanites. But the thing is, if they eat a LOT of food in a short span, their body creates "extra" nanites which it stores in, well...
TL;DR: Pigging out on human food gives Legion boobage
