Okay, I ran out of ideas for the title, so it's hardly Zelda related at all. It's actually the name of one of my favorite Plastic Tree songs. XD; When in doubt, use song titles, right? lol. It means 'Painful Blue', and I thought it described how horrifyingly blue my eyes look in this shot pretty well lololol.P.S. Yes, I'm wearing contacts.
I was going to be done uploading TP Zelda pics lol but then LJinto uploaded this pic, and it's awesome, so I thought what the hell.

what material did you use for the crown and shoulder guards?

The crown is made from model magic and the pauldrons are craft foam with model magic details coated in fiberglass resin.

Interesting that it took me so long to get curious - did you attach wig hair to the tiara instead of using a full wig? Because the hair on top looks like real one.

Hehe, actually, it's a full wig. It has a skin cap (a plastic scalp) on top which makes the part look more realistic.

Hahaha actually wigs with skin caps are pretty common and relatively inexpensive. ^ ^ Lace caps are the super pricey ones, since they have to be woven one or two fibers at a time by hand.

Thanks! I made this one from model magic, sanded and sealed, then painted and sealed again with epoxy resin.

Impressive....no, it's more than that...
I have travelled a lot around the world, and I must admit that as a Zelda fan, I've never seen a such incredible dress in 12 years of cosplay.
It's a real passion that guided your hands during months of work, this is why this dress is so beautiful and will remain unique, just as the cosplayer who wears it.
The legend of Zelda series is for sure one of the greatest adventures of my life, and I'm glad to see that talented people like you are sharing this adventure, by singing, by painting, by sculpting or even by cosplaying.
I hope to meet you in a convention someday to talk with you about your work.
And the only thing I can say is : thank you
PS : How do you feel when wearing this dress ? I am sure that for a couple of seconds, when you are alone, just after wearing this dress and by closing your eyes, in your head you are Zelda. I think that the key for a good cosplay is the dress, but also the way you feel while wearing it, it's very important.
