Elementary | 6 y/o

Up until around age 5 Enmei’s parents were getting him prepared for his inevitable death as his quirk would eventually end up slowly draining him until he was nothing, but as the new ‘charge’ side of his quirk emerged he began to walk the long path to recovery, drawing the will to get better from courageous pro heroes like All Might.

    | QUIRK AT THIS TIME |

      His quirks really can’t do anything at this time except help him recover strength

Middle School | 13 y/o

Due to taking lessons from private tutors in the hospital and eventually home once he was well enough to be discharged, middle school was his first experience at school life. Still getting used to the limits of his quirk he would often be shocked at his difference in treatment by peers depending on how he looked. Classmates would flock to him when he charged up and shun him when he looked dull and corpse-like. This much was to be expected but it rooted a deep distrust for his peers in him. Due to sleep and food having no effect on him, he submerged himself in his studies so he could achieve his goal of becoming a hero like All Might and study at U.A.

      | QUIRK AT THIS TIME |

      Just finally getting the hang of it he mainly tests it out subconsciously and a bit sporadically (like at sports festivals or in gym class) his quirk at this time isn’t really enough to harm someone unless he actively works towards said outcome (in the case of the U.A. Entrance exam)

High School/U.A. Hero Dept | 18 y/o

In his first year of high school he tried to remain an outsider, only using his quirk when absolutely necessary but as time went on he realized his peers (now friends) liked him however he was. Skip to present canon-time now in his senior year he’s learning how to strengthen his quirk especially in terms of alternative energy sources.

      | QUIRK AT THIS TIME |

      He will use the energy around him in violent, short lived bursts, that although effective are taxing on the mind and body. The motivations of others who’s energy he takes will swirl around his head causing confusion, annoyance and migraines.

Pro Hero | 27 y/o

About 2 years after graduating, Encharge announced that he would be taking a hiatus in the pro hero world for personal purposes.

During this time he spent countless hours as a recluse at his family’s forest vacation home away from people and technology, pushing the limits of his quirk (up until now, mainly relying on drawing energy from people and technology around him) and in doing so realized that the natural world was teeming with energy if you could tap into and harmonize with it.

Although it was much tougher than just grabbing what ever energy was the most convenient, Enmei trained his body and began to pull from the sun and rain much like a flower would, rebranding himself as the Desert Rose hero.

He could now discard his weaker form for a sustainable energy diet and upon his entry back into the hero world he spent his spare time starting up a foundation for researching and logging quirks that would harm their user and funding a children’s hospital for said harmful quirks. On the side he became a big advocate for the environment.

He became quite popular with single mothers and office women, coming off as an aloof yet caring studious man who was good with kids. Coupled with his humanitarian image he rose in the pro hero ranks, his highest achieved ranking being 13.

      | QUIRK AT THIS TIME |

      When actually fighting villains he will harness the energy of the sun and deal ‘scorching solar blow’ as his signature move that can momentarily cause a flash of light and searing pain to the opponent as they feel the wrath of the sun. In an idle state he builds up his solar reserves slowly for the event of a battle happening during overcast but in a worst case scenario of running out of solar energy he can revert to his old ways and charge from people or technology. This is less than ideal because afterwards he will purge himself of the ‘negative’ energy (often having to drain himself almost completely) in order to achieve harmony with natural energy once again.
