Description I have never really thought about shooting these. The sun shining on them made them beautiful

The nice light on the curving shapes among the angular dark lines of the needles is a nice contrast of textures. Lovely capture.

Indeed the suns rays illuminated them with life, with warm colors and a soft focus emphasis is well depicted

Shooting up into trees is one of the ways to feel closer to the sky, or even to a bird. I myself like the way that the light is reflecting off the little pinecones that are getting ready to start their lives for it to be short lived like every one before them. Heh. Nature funny things no?

those aren't baby pinecones. they are full size male cones that produce the pollen to fertilize female cones. Nice shot!!!!!
