Nox trembled as the pressure rose more and more. Without thinking, in a fit of rage, he threw himself against the door, breaking it down. The two men did not have time to react, or even stand up to defend themselves. The beast gashed open each carotid as blood splattered against the walls. The two murderers collapsed at once. Still in his frenzy, he shattered the small pieces of furniture in the shack, when at last he regained his usual state of mind. His vision became clearer, his breath less intense. He looked around himself, and saw the atrocity he had committed.

“What did I do?...” he stammered. He collapsed into a pool of blood, the taste and smell disgusted him. He tried to get rid of the red liquid all over his body, but it was no use. He put his head in his hands and repeated to himself:

“No… It’s not me, I couldn’t do that.”

He couldn’t admit it, the day he feared so much. That day his impulsed were right for him. It had happened. He, who was not afraid of the full moon, had just killed two people in a single stroke, thus revealing his true nature. Noises of steps alerted Nox, and his time to mourn had been cut short. The noise caused by the werewolf had roused a group of hunters. It was time for the beast to flee, and quickly. The monster left in such a rush that he left bloody prints all along his flight, something he would surely regret.
